Demi's POV
"BELLA, LET'S GO!" I screamed for about the fiftieth time in the past five minutes.

"I DON'T WANT TO!" She screamed from her room as I released a low groan and stuffed another leotard into Nolie's dance bag.

"I'M LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!"

"I DON'T CARE!"

I don't believe in hitting your children but for the past few weeks Bella has really been testing me. She's only started spending more time at home over this past week because I took her car away, and now I've had to deal with her attitude all week because of it.

"Nolie, hurry up and finish so that we can leave," I said as Nolie nodded and tried to finish her salad as fast as possible. While she was doing that, I jogged up the stairs to Bella's room and rolled my eyes when I saw her sitting on her bed with her phone in her hand and her dance clothes next to her. She's supposed to be on set for filming in about thirty minutes and she's not even dressed.

"What is your problem?" I questioned as Bella scoffed.

"I don't want to go."

"I don't care, Bella. You signed up for this, you committed to this. You can't just decide that you don't want to go. This is your job. You need to come downstairs so that we can leave," I demanded as Bella huffed, but ultimately she moved off of her bed and followed me downstairs. She put her clothes into the duffel bag that she always threw at the end of the staircase - the one I always told her to move so that no one would trip on it - and followed Nolie and I out to my car. She's upset with me so she got in the backseat and put her headphones in as I drove to the studio to drop them off.

Nolie likes me to come in with her so I held her bag and her hand as I led her into the studio. As usual the moms were sitting on the bleachers and watching their kids dance while Bella went into one of the changing rooms to get dressed.

"I'll see you after class, sweetie, okay?" I said as she nodded and wrapped her arms around me before rushing into the tumbling room. Rosalie came up to me as Bella came out the changing room and angrily marched into the main gold studio.

"Demi, this is the third day in a row that you guys have been late and the producers have been yelling at me for it," Rosalie said as I rolled my eyes again because she's one person that I really do not feel like dealing with.

"Well, you'll have to talk to Bella about it."

"What happened? She got home from school and didn't want to come?"

"No, she didn't want to come because she's friends with a girl that lives in your building and it's their homecoming week so there's all of these activities going on and stuff and she wants to go to them but it's the same time as filming," I explained as Rosalie nodded in understanding.

Bella recently became friends with this girl named Chloe who lives in Rosalie's building. I have no problems with her making new friends but Chloe goes to high school and she's a normal teenager...she's not a reality TV star so she lives a very different life from Bella, and now that Bella is friends with her she wants to be "normal" too. If she wasn't under contract, I would let her go to a public high school and experience all of those things, but she's signed to a contract and she has to film and she's under legal obligation to fulfill the contract. I just don't think she really understands that.

"To be young..." she trailed off as I nodded in agreement.

"I'll be back to get them later. Bye," I said before leaving the studio. Since everything that has been going on with Wilmer, I've been taking a break from work. Work used to be my sanctuary but I'm thankful that I've built up my company and trained my staff so well that they know how to act and what to do when I'm not around. I'm not in the office as much anymore but I still try to work from home.

Wilmer and I have been going to therapy but I honestly don't know if it's been helping. Between my problems, his problems, and our collective problems with each other, I'm pretty sure we keep our therapist's office open with all of our sessions. Wilmer's kind of been involved, and he's been trying, but this whole thing has just caused so many more problems between us that most of the time, I just want to do things by myself.

I walked inside of the house and my heart nearly melted at the sight in front of me. Wilmer was alseep on the couch with Devy laying on his chest, Batman cuddled into his side, and Nicholas laid across his lap. Nicholas and Nolie had the day off from school but Nolie wanted to go to dance early which is why I let her go with Bella.

I dropped my purse next to the door and walked over to the couch, holding Batman in my arms as I took his place next to Wilmer's side and cuddled into him. My movements made him wake up, looking at me in confusion as I grabbed the blanket that was on top of the ottoman and wrapped myself up in it.

"When did you get home?"

"I just got here. What have you guys been doing?"

"We had breakfast then swam around in the pool a bit then came in here to watch movies," he mumbled, gesturing towards the giant screen that was playing the end of "Coco."

"Well go back to sleep, I didn't mean to wake you," I said as Wilmer kissed the top of my head then wrapped his free arm around me.

"I love you, Demi."

"I love you too, Wilmer."
