chapter 9:

Aria's Pov:

Today I'm home alone Jacob wen't to Knoxville for the weekend he wanted to see his friends and he misses his sister. You know how close he is with his sister. But I didn't go because I wanted him to have fun and just be with his friends. I wasn't expecting anybody but I heard our doorbell ring. I didn't look out the window to see who it was I just opened the door.

I was shocked and scared when I saw who it was it was Alex. He came all the way from London, it was creepy. "Umm?" I say confused. "Aria, we have to talk" he says. "You shouldn't be here, why did you fly from London to see me?" I ask. "I came because I miss you and I wanna be with you, I know you're with Jacob but I can't let you go. I've been trying to get over you, it's not easy. I won't get over I can't let you be happy with someone unless its me" he explains.

The way Alex was speaking sounded like he was insane and I was scared. "Alex can you just go I'm married and I'm happy be happy for me. I love Jacob please leave me alone" I said. "I'm not leaving unless you come with me" he says.

Just as he was about to say something else I heard the backdoor open. I sighed in relief but I didn't know who it was I was freaked out. "Babe, i came home" he stops talking at the sight of Alex. "Alex was just leaving" I say. "No I'm not, not without her" Alex tells Jacob. "Just leave it's whats best" Jacob says. "Shut up, wow and Aria you call him you're husband thought you were smarter than that" Alex says.

I could tell Jacob was getting mad, which was rare because he hardly got mad. He let go of me and got closer to Alex. "Get out" He says angrily. Alex looked at me like he was begging for me to go with him so I looked away because I felt bad that I didn't wanna be with him but I just didnt, I never liked him."You're making her upset just leave" Jacob yells. "No" Alex says. 

Alex tries to come closer to me and Jacob stopped him. Jacob always clenched his jaw when he was angry and he was actually mad now. Alex pushed Jacob back and Jacob doesn't hit him but he tries to get him out of the house. I whimper when Alex slapped Jacob and I cried because I couldn't do anything.

Before I could even think of what I could do anything Jacob gets punched again by Alex and Jacob does tackle him to the ground and holds him there. Jacob doesn't like violence at all and to see him punch Alex was something I'd never expect and finally Alex got up and gives him a stare. He turns to walk away but instead he slaps me across the face. I collasped to the ground and I was now crying, it all happened so fast and I was scared.

Jacobs Pov:

When Alex slapped Aria across the face I felt like I failed as her husband I was supposed to protect her and I didn't. I pushed Alex to the ground and I punched him about 5 times before i felt Aria pulling me and begging me to stop. "You got it? now leave" I commanded Alex.

I grabbed Aria and I held her in my arms and I see Alex get up and leave. I never wanted to hit him but I had to he hurt Aria. "I'm sorry he hit you I feel terrible for not protecting you im sorry" I tell her. "I'm fine it wasn't you fault." she says smiling.

I grabbed Aria and hugged her, "I love you baby" I say and i continue hugging her tightly.
