Chapter 9

Blake POV

What did they mean teach us? and what the heck is the alpha state??

"Hey Blake?" Jamie asked. it was the day after the day I.....uh.....overheard, yeah I'll go with that, Jamie's parents talking. I couldn't stop thinking about what they said.

"Yeah?" I was sitting with kaydon and Jamie in of the highest trees in the forest near Jamie's station. Kaydon was leaning on the trunk, asleep. So me and Jamie were just sitting there talking about anything and everything.

"I don't know how to say this......" she said awkwardly,rubbing the back of her neck. Her hair was up in a high ponytail, she looked good.

"What is it?"

"Um.... you look pretty good in that costume." she rushed.

"What?" I asked cupping my ear pretending not to hear when I heard her perfectly. Super hearing.

"You look pretty good in that out fit." I smiled.

"That's what I thought you said." I said smugly.

"Hey!" we bust out laughing.

"So... why do you like the costume?" I asked wiggling my eye brows. She laughed.

"I just like a guy with light hair."

"Are you saying you don't like dark haired guys?"

"Yes. blondes are just more sexy." my mouth hung open. She laughed.

"Dick head." I mumbled. She laughed even harder. Kaydon started moving around on his branch and his foot slipped so her was hanging on the branch like a towl on the line.

He was mumbling in his sleep , things like; "get off my sister......" he slurred. Awww sleepy kaydon is like drunk kaydon. "And you ain't sexy..... me is... yeah!!" he said and then he started being annoying and embarrassing, for Jamie. "wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!! wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!! " I face palmed myself. He is so stupid. Even when he's asleep. Jamie was laughing as he did the dance that came with it, until he wiggled his way off the branch. he landed on a branch in the worst possible way for a dude, the nuts cracker. I winced and climbed down to him. He was groaning and now fully awake. Jamie, as usual, was laughing her giant ass off. I'm glad I didn't say that aloud.

"Why did you push me off the branch?" his voice was all comical and high. I laughed.

"We didn't. " Jamie replied then held up her phone. Oh snap, she was videoing the hole time!! I was laughing so hard I almost passed out. She went a bit closer and showed him, his face went dark red. We spent the rest of the day arguing about wether to delete or post the video, we ended up "accidentally" posting it on Facebook keek Instagram and twitter.

After we went home we went into Jamie's house to get a snack. when we went into the lounge room we saw Jamie's parents sitting on the couch.

"Hey mum and dad." Jamie said and went and gave them a big hug.

"Hi." I waved.

"Hello." kaydon smiled.

"Hello! nice to see you again, it been so long!" her mum exaggerated. We laughed a bit then went and sat down near them. Her parents looked anxious and shuffled around a lot.

"So...." her dad said eventually. "Um we want to teach you something." wait, teach us something.

"What is it?" Jamie asked.

"We are going to teach you, how to use the alpha state."
