Matt x Reader

The Phone Call

    After the heated night you and Matt had, you where laying on the beige carpet of your apartment with a blanket wrapped around you. Patting the ground you hoped to grabs Matt's hand to find out he was gone.
    Opening your eyes, you tied the blanket around yourself and stood up. "...Matt? You in the shower?" You spoke softly to only hear silence. You walked to the bathroom to see nothing, you were starting to grow annoyed. "Mail Jeevas!" You shouted and looked through each two rooms, one bathroom and the living room which was connected to the kitchen to find nothing.
    You plopped onto the couch and let out a long sigh, as you waited for any knews on him you decided to take a quick shower. Removing the long red blanket you hopped into the steaming shower where you made sure to wash away everything from last night, Humming to yourself you quickly heard the front door shut. You immediately wrapped a towel around your small frame and opened the drawer under the sink to pull out a Gun, loading it and quietly opening the bathroom door. Peeking you (E/C) eyes outside trying to see anyone but unfortunately you grew more alarmed when you couldn't see anyone, you stepped out, your hair still a dripping mess as you tiptoed to the living room.
    Eyeing the small room you didn't see anything, but felt uncomfortable, you shot the ground as someone pushed you up against the wall roughly and looked up in shock. "Are you trying to give me a God Damn Heart attack!?" You furiously yelled at your redhead Boyfriend. "Alright sorry, but you could of killed me with that Poor excuse of a shot" he mumbled as he put down a CVS bag onto the counter, you still had eye contact with him upset that he left. "Where the Hell where you!? I woke up alone and naked and I thought your dumbass left..." Still annoyed you looked down at the ground"
   "Well I just happen to think that we might REALLY need these" He said as he let everything out of the plastic bag onto the counter, seeing a pack of condoms, Advil, a pack of cigarettes and tossing you a box that clearly has written 'Plan B Pill' over it. Now feeling stupid you simply walked past Matt and swallowed the pill with a glass of water.
    Later onto the morning, Matt and you say in the couch eating breakfast while watching the Dr.Phil show, he seemed to be enjoying the little day off with his girlfriend until he got a phone call and loomed shocked at his phone. "Who is it?" You asked peering over his shoulder. Standing up, he walked to the door and opened it, "It's Mello" he said quietly and stepped out for the call.
    Cleaning up after breakfast you tried to listen to the conversation Matt was having with his former friend, and by what you could tell, he wasn't happy at all. Matt then walked back Inside and handed you a backpack from the closet, "what's this for?" Questioning while holding the backpack he'd given you. "We need to start packing our shit, we gotta go help" he hurried while talking too but sounds serious, a little too serious for Matt. You walked up to him and held his shoulders looking up at him as he was almost a foot taller than you, "Hell's going on Matt" you said with a stern voice, which helped as he kissed your forehead and said, "It's about Kira"

As the clock was now around five thirty you and matt where taking a taxi to the nearest airport, you were so confused yet shocked about what was happening. "You said Kira! Isn't it that so called  guy killing off people in Japan? If so what does that have anything to do with L!". Hearing your nonstop questions matt closes his DS and explained that L might be working with this 'so called' God, mello snd near where involved aswell and mello needed the third and forth successors of L to help.

Going through the bag checks, you and Matt where stopped for having illegal substances in your position and where taken into a room. "What did they catch you with now?" You groaned to your boyfriend from the small pillow you currently had you face buried in. "Nothing honestly! I left our pipe back at home!" He shook you and little and signed aswell. A few minutes later a man walked in, holding a long wooden opium pipe in a clear plastic bag, "would you care to explain" the tall man asked. Matt looked at you with a bitch face, you kinda just sat there trying to think an an excuse for trying to sneak it up but where quickly left unattended as the man had to leave in a hurry to help a police officer in the next room. You and matt took the opportunity to run out and finally get on the plane with your bags of clothes.

"I thought we agreed on leaving that one at home too (Y/N)" He sighs as he laid on the plane seat getting comfortable. "I thought I could of sneaked it in" giving him a small smile and resting your head on his chest. Feeling his arms wrap around you, you slowly fell asleep and waited for the plane to arrive in Japan.
