(DISCONTINUED) If Only He Knew (VLD Modern AU)

(SPOILERS) FUCKING SEASON 7

This season was..... No offence to anyone who liked it but it didn't really live up to my expectations. Everyone is allowed to have their own opinions in my house?? Book?? Community?? Idek man

I was very excited for this season and was a bit let down.

Don't get me wrong here though! I loved the Hunk development, I loved the bit of Keith and Shiro back story, I loved Romelle because she's my boo, but honestly? Without all of that I'd have been a little more upset than I already am.

But do you know what REALLY upsets me? How toxic everyone is being to the creators, the voice actors, people who don't ship the same ships as them, everyone!

Voltron is by far my favourite show, but recently I've become a bit ashamed to say so. All the negativity towards each other and the creators who work so hard to make the show for us is needs to stop!

Everyone's saying that Shadam was 'Queerbaiting'. I'm sorry if you think this was the case, and I'm sorry that there wasn't enough of it, but it was still there! The creators confirmed the relationship, confirmed Shiro to be gay, what else do you need? I know that it was never literally stated in the show that they were a thing, and you may feel that you were cheated out of the LGBTQ rep, but it was still there.

Onto some other ships, I'm very sorry to say, but I don't think Klance will become canon. All these theories I've read and used to believe now seem a bit... Forced? I think? I feel that they just seem a bit... Tailor made, for the klance shippers. To give them false hope. Sorry guys, but I've kinda lost hope.

Especially after the Allurance moments this season. Also the KeithxAxca has been confirmed to be one sided, probably with Axca being the one with feelings as she went easy on Keith and his discomfort was displayed when Zethrid and Ezor were calling it 'True love' and he asked if they could just fight already. All the romance is meant to be slowburn, and I think that it's rushing a bit to get Keith and Axca together at the last second.

I dont know, maybe Keith will find someone, but if it is Lance I'd be a bit surprised. Sure, I'd be over the moon that my favourite ship was canon, but I'd be confused nonetheless. Whatwith all the Allurance buildup.

Also, I don't think Black Paladin Lance is really an option this late into the show, but he has matured so much! He's definitely shown signs if maturity and leadership. I'm very proud of my boi.

Just remember, these are my opinions and I am all for letting you guys have your own, so long as they are not hurtful to anyone in the fandom, the creators, or the voice actors. Or me!
