I can't concentrate. I can feel my leg as it bounces up in down as I nervously try and focus on what the trainer is saying right now, but I can't. All I can focus on is the fact that Jimin is sitting in the seat right next to me, his knee occasionally brushing against my own whenever he shifts in his chair.

I didn't know that he was going to be in my training group. When he said that he switched, I figured that he would be in my class. I didn't know that he was going to choose to sit next to me, making him apart of the group of people our trainer split us into for activities. His presence somehow makes me incredibly on edge, my nerves skyrocketing every time he so much as raises his hand.

"What do you have to say about our Metrics, CJ?"

"Huh?"

The class laughs as I look around in confusion, my face heating up in mortification at being called out when I was spacing out. I clear my throat before looking back at our trainer, who has an expectant look on her face.

"If we, uh, don't do well.......our Metrics will be low. And then we, um, can't bonus.........I think."

I watch as she sighs before nodding slightly, telling us to turn around in our seats so that we are facing our computers. She probably just didn't want to deal with me right now, but I'm so glad that she didn't ask me to explain any part of what I just said because I made that whole thing up.

I can't help it though. For some reason I am startlingly aware of Jimin's presence next to me. I can see all of his movements from the corner of my eyes and it is slowly starting to drive me insane. I get that he is attractive and all, but I have never reacted to someone like this before. I can literally feel my arm tingling as his gently brushes against it, my back ridged and my breathing shallow.

That's why I am the first one out of the room when our trainer sends us on our final break of the day. I can feel my nerves subsiding as I walk past the security guard and over to my locker. I quickly get my phone before walking over to the vending machines and buying a pink Monster energy drink, checking my messages as I take a sip of the addicting liquid.

"Hey girly!"

"Hey Taylor" I say distractedly, not looking up from my phone as my best friend pops up beside me. She glances at my phone before realizing that I'm talking to her older brother, a scowl on her face as she goes to stand in front of me instead.

"So, what did your boyfriend say?"

"He's not my boyfriend, bitch" I answer with a snarl, reaching across and hitting her as she laughs. She knows fully well that I would never date her brother. She just loves making fun of our relationship.

Her older brother Justin is my boss. I have been working for him since my brother died seven years ago, and I have never once thought of leaving. That's also how I met Taylor, and she constantly makes fun of how much I hate her brother. Yes, I work for the asshole, but I hate him with a burning fiery passion. We have had sex a couple of times, but I have never felt any feelings for him aside from anger, hate, and the occasion flicker of lust.

"Ok, fine" she says with a roll of her eyes. "What did Justin say about tonight?"

"He said that he's picking us up from work and taking us back to his house" I say unenthusiastically, not looking forward to being in the car with him. I know it's only so I can get ready for the party that he is sending me to, but I don't necessarily like talking to him. He also pissed me off the last time we spoke, so he better be ready for the silent treatment.

"Well, we have about an hour left until work ends and he-"

She suddenly stops, the words she was about to say dying in her throat as she looks at something behind me. I go to turn around only to be stopped by her holding onto my arm, my eyebrows creasing in confusion.

"You know that new guy?"

"Jimin? Yeah, what about him?"

She takes a deep breath before facing me again, a smirk appearing on her face as she crosses her arms.

"He is, like, hardcore checking you out right now."

My eyes widen and I get the same tingles I had felt when we were sitting in the classroom, my heart rate escalating as I turn around to see if what Taylor said was right.

Sure enough, she was. I wasn't ready for the sight that I was met with when I looked his way. Jimin's legs are spaced slightly apart as he sits down, his arms draped over the sides of the chair he is in. His eyes are narrowed as he eyes my form, his bottom lip captured between his teeth. We are in a work environment, yet it doesn't feel like it.

Under his gaze, I don't notice all of the other people around us. All I can see is him, and it's starting to freak me out.
