The wind is relentless, it dancing through my hair and ravaging it. I have no choice but to take it down and out of the bun I had it in before and putting it in a high ponytail instead, continuing on my way.
I can only hear the sound of my own footsteps as I walk around to the back of the house, my purse clutched tightly in my hands. I have done this numerous times before over the years, but I have only met the person I am about to see a total of three times. He seemed nice enough considering the work he does, but I'm still a little on edge as I walk up to the man leaning against the wall.
"Wait.....who are you, and where's Namjoon?" I ask in surprise, not recognizing the man standing in front of me. His brown hair covers part of his forehead, his eyes trailing up and down my form in slight confusion.
"Same goes for you. Where's Justin?"
"I'm CJ. Justin's inside enjoying himself." I wait patiently for the man to introduce himself, him mumbling a quiet "Kim Taehyung" as he takes a step towards me.
"I didn't know Justin was sending little girls out to do his dirty work" he says with a slight smirk, causing me to roll my eyes. What he doesn't know is that this "little girl" could probably kick his ass. I decide to ignore his statement, instead taking a brown paper bag out of my purse and throwing it to him.
I watch as he opens the bag and looks inside, his eyebrows raising as he closes it before stuffing it inside the backpack he brought with him. He then throws me another paper bag and I open it, looking at the stacks of money that are inside.
"Pleasure doing business with you, love" he says with a wink before turning around and walking away from me, humming under his breath as he does so. I look at his retreating figure for a little while before I turn on my heels, heading back towards the house where the party is still raging on.
The music seems to be even louder than it was when I stepped outside, the walls practically shaking from the vibration. There are also a lot more people here than there were before, which I didn't think would be possible seeing as I wasn't outside for very long. I spot Taylor dancing with a guy amongst the other grinding bodies, his hands on her waist as she moves to the music.
My aim is Justin though, me having to tell him that the deal was a success. I push my way through the crowd of people before making my way to where I last saw him, a few more people having come to sit with him. I walk so that I am behind him, then opening my mouth to speak with him.
No words come out though. Sitting directly across from him is Jimin, his eyes already on me as I stand there is shock. His gaze is even more intense than it was earlier today, his eyes hooded as they slowly trail over my body. I can feel goosebumps as they form on my arms, him not even touching me, yet the intensity of his stare making me heat up.
It doesn't help that he looks insanely good as well. I thought that he looked hot wearing business casual attire, but it doesn't compare to how he looks now. His hair, which used to be slicked back, falls lazily against his forehead in a side part, brushing against his eyebrow. His eyes seem to pierce through me, his full lips slightly damp as if he had just wet them with his tongue. He has a simple pair of jeans and a black t-shirt on, but they both hug him in all the right places.
"Oh, CJ, I didn't see you there."
I blink before shaking my head, breaking eye contact with Jimin in order to look at Justin. I clear my throat before smiling nervously, kind of glad that Justin didn't see the exchange that Jimin and I just had. I am still shaken up about it, so I don't say anything at all when he pulls me down to sit on his lap.
"How did the deal go?" he whispers quietly as everyone else continues talking. I mumble a quiet "good" as he begins to nibble on my ear, too preoccupied to do anything about it.
I can't seem to look away from Jimin as he continues to stare at me, my focus solely on him and nothing else. The way he is eyeing me is stirring something in me that I have never felt before, and I can literally feel the tension in the air between us. My body is growing hot; unusually hot, and I have to cross my legs when I realize where the heat is going to.
He nudges the guy sitting next to him and whispers something in his ear before he gets something slipped into his hand, he then putting it in his front pocket. The smirk that is on his face is almost sinful, and I am startlingly aware of how fast my breathing just got.
I stand up and tell Justin that I am going to the bathroom before speed walking away from him, unable to think clearly as I get pushed around by the throng of people still standing around. I can't get him out of my head, my heart beating spastically in my chest as I open the first door I come across and close it behind me.
It just so happens to actually be the bathroom, my hands shaking slightly as I put them on the sink and stare at my flustered reflection, wondering why he is able to make me feel this way.
