When Brianna's mother dies recently, she moves in with her stepbrother, Harry, after finding out her stepfather doesn't want her staying with him anymore.
"No, no. I'm not breaking up with you. I just think we need to talk about some stuff before we move forward in this relationship." I reassure him, and he takes a big sigh of relief.
"Oh thank God, I thought I lost you for a second." He gives me a big hug, and I wrap my arms around his neck. I feel bad, because here I am, wondering if I should pick this fairly decent man, or my stepbrother.
"Let's go sit down yeah?" He nods over to his couch, and I nod as we walk hand in hand and sit down.
"So, what's up?" He asks, rubbing his thumb over my hand in circles.
"Um, well, lately you've been very busy, you know, with the company and all and I couldn't help but feel as if I was in the way." I admit, and he nods for me to continue.
"So, I was thinking...maybe we take a little break so that you can put your company first and then when you're not so overwhelmed with the workload, we can come back to where we left off?" I suggest, and he sighs.
"Bri, you know that you're not any type burden to me, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I'm just a busy man is all, and eventually it will get better. But if I'm being honest, having you as my girlfriend helps me out a bit." He smiles shyly at me. I tilt my head at him in surprise, and crack a smile.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I mean, I actually have someone who motivated me to do my best, and you're such a beautiful girl. I'm just so lucky to have you." He tells me, and I can feel my cheeks heaten up.
"And also, you're just this ball of sunshine that whenever I'm around you, I suddenly have this feeling of love and happinesses bursting through my body. You're someone that I want to be with for every important stage in my life, and you're someone I can see myself having a future with. Which reminds me, would you like to move in?"
"Oh wow baby, I don't know what to say."I speak out in awe.
"Say yes. That's all you've got to say." He assures me, and I take a deep sigh in.
