When Brianna's mother dies recently, she moves in with her stepbrother, Harry, after finding out her stepfather doesn't want her staying with him anymore.
"Oh shit, this is..." I trail off as I stare at the large masterpiece that's set in front of me.
"Yeah, it's not finished. It's supposed to be something special, and you've just seen it." He looks defeated as he slumps his shoulders over and wipes the excess paint off of his fingers.
"Oh I'll leave, I'll just come back later so that you can work on it more..."
"N-no, it's fine. You can stay, just bit in here because this is a pretty big surprise. Good thing I covered up half of it." He sighs and then turns to face me, giving me a peck on the lips.
"So how's my baby doing?"
"Um, I'm fine actually. But uh, we need to talk." I mutter, and he looks down at me with the most afraid eyes I've ever seen.
"Are you breaking up with me?"
