I wait by the phone,
But you never call,
They tell me not to bother,
You're not worth the fall,
But I'm always right,
How could I be wrong?
I wait up all night,
And you still don't come,
So I go to your house,
I see you standing outside,
But you're not alone,
And I find out you lied,
Seeing you with her,
It made me realise,
That I've tried too hard,
You're not worth my time,
I sit there as I struggle,
As I try not to cry,
And I see your image,
It's engraved in my mind,
Yet why do I want you,
Think of you at night,
Dream of your arms around me,
Everything is right.
