Yesterday was fun.

Come to think of it, it has definitely been the most fun I've had in a while.

I never thought I could become so close with someone in just over a week.

It's crazy.

"Taylor, I'm leaving right now!" My mom calls from downstairs.

"Yeah, I'm coming!" I yell, taking one last look at myself in the mirror.

I'm wearing my high waisted shorts with my white and red coca cola crop top and converse.

My hair is down and it's curly, I have my sunglasses sitting at the top of my head incase it gets sunny.

Today my mom, Ryan, Jess and I are going to the mall.

She has to buy some business stuff, and I guess I'm just going to entertain the kids..

I run downstairs, where Ryan is holding the front door open for me, everyone else is in the car.

"Ready?" He asks.

"Yup" I answer.

We both walk to the car and I get into the front.

I turn around to face the back and see Jessica.

"Hey baby!" I say, in an excited tone.

She giggles, "Taylor!" She yells, clapping her hands.

I turn back to sit properly and buckle up my safety belt.

Something catches my eye from across the road.

I look over and see Matthew standing outside bouncing around a basketball.

He looks over and nods his head while smiling and giving this friendly wave.

I wave and mom does too while we pull out of our drive.

He looks so sweet. I can't help my cheeks flush to a pinky colour.

Mom glances at me and looks away smiling.

"What?" I ask, turning to her and hoping she didn't see me blush.

"I didn't say anything!" She laughs.

I roll my eyes, obviously annoyed by this.

"Do you have feelings for him?" Mom asks, driving slowly because we're still in our estate.

"I'd rather not talk about my personal life if that's okay." I snap.

"I'm just asking, and I have a right to know, you're my daughter." Mom says.

I remain silent.

"You do?!" Asks mom, excitedly.

"Wait, you're dating Matthew?" Ryan asks, casually as ever.

"Oh my god!" I yell, unbuckling my seat belt.

I've heard enough of this bullshit.

Mom stops the car because she knows where I'm going.

I open the door and get out, slamming it behind me.

Why do all these little things annoy me so much.

I storm back up my drive, forgetting that Matthew is still in his.

I hear footsteps run up behind me as I'm forcefully pushing my key through the door.

"Taylor, are you okay?"

I turn around, startled.

"I'm fine." I lie.
