Runaway ~ Pesy ~ chapter four

Jesy's POV

Me and Perrie got dressed and put all the clothes away, that were dry. I gathered some money together before we headed out of the house.

To say that there was a storm last night, you couldn't tell outside. The only giveaway was the fact that the wheely bins were scattered across the front garden along with plants that were previously in pots. I'm not sure where the garden gnome is but it's definitely not where it was when we got here last night. I locked the front door behind us and we made our way down the path of the house.

The view is beautiful, especially when you look from where our house is. There are some trees in front of the garden, that hides our house from anyone down hill in the lower village

You can see some more holiday homes, maybe five or six, that are downhill from ours. The small village, only two or three roads, is located to the left of the holiday homes. On the right is a large woodland area. Other that that you can just see endless fields and hills, full of sheep and other fluffy animals.

"Shall we go to the shop first?" Asked Perrie, squinting at me as the sun shone brightly.

"Ok then, maybe we should go and see if there are any jobs going too," I replied.

By the time we had bought some food from the local village shop and asked if there were any jobs, me and Perrie were very happy. She would be doing the afternoon shifts, Monday to Thursday, at the cafe/bakery and I would be doing the afternoon shifts, Monday to Friday, at the village shop. We are pleased that it worked out that well because we would be working at the same time, giving us more time together. We are also pleased that there that many shifts going because we will need all the money that we can get. As we were walking home, we could hear some people talking.

"Wait for me, Leigh" shouted the brunette, who seemed to have a strong Geordie accent.

"Look, there's a gnome on your garden," said the other girl as she bent over to have a look.

"There's our gnome!" Said perrie, pointing towards it.

Perrie must have said it loud enough for them to hear because they turned around and looked at us.

"Is this yours?" Asked the same girl who pointed it out. I think her name was leigh, as that's what the brunette had called her

"Yeah" I replied, "I think it got blown away from our house in that storm last night."

"You live round here?" Asked the brunette, who had now joined us.

"Yeah, just moved in" I said, looking at Perrie who nodded her head in agreement. Ow

"Thought I hadn't seen you round here before" chuckled leigh. "What's your names?"

"I'm perrie," said perrie, "and this is my girlfriend Jesy."

"Well, I'm Leigh-Anne" said leigh-Anne. "And this is my girlfriend, Jade."

"Do you live next to each other?" Asked Perrie.

"Yeah," said jade " we do here and at home in London."

"We lived in London too," said Perrie.

I was about to say something else when someone called for Leigh and jade from in the house.

"Well we'd better be going now," said leigh-Anne. "See ya round though."

"See ya," I said as me and perrie turned to walk back home.
