Vampire Knight (Fan Fiction) Vol. 2 Chapter 6 Outing

Yuuki’s POV:

In the future, that day will come…”Kill me with your own hand.” Zero said. Zero… is scared that he will become a blood-thirsty vampire without self-conscience. The veredict of that kind of Zero… I think as I sit by a fence of the riding arena. Ten years ago that vampire appeared in front of me. A vampire gone mad, with its thirst for blood. “Yuuki get up.” Yori says. “…Yori!” I say surprised. “You actually fell asleep during P.E. that’s rare…” Yori said. “I was just thinking about stuff…I…” I say. “I want to tell you some bad news… When you were sleeping, the horses allocated to the class were taken, and only bad tempered White lily, is left.” She says pointing to the white horse. White Lily glared at me. Can horses even do that? “I have already ridden the other horses. Use your good temper to ride her, Yuuki… If you don’t pay attention you will be thrown off…” Yori advises me. “I…I know…” I say as I untie Lily from her post. “NEIGHH!!” Lily says as she kicks me. Lily gallops away. “White Lily is running away!!” Scream the girls. “Aaahh!” I say “My butt hurts…” I say. I look up and Mizuki who was ridding a pure black horse stops jumping. “I’ll get her!” She says as she gallops after Lily. Mizuki jumps over the fence perfectly. Every one was amazed.

Zero’s POV:

I awaken to the sound of hooves. It was Lily and Mizuki following close behind. Lily stops in front of me. “Don’t disturb me…” I tell the white horse. She stamps her feet then rears. “Zero be careful!” Mizuki says as she gallops to me. I grab the reins and jump on her back. “Lily, it’s fine.” I tell her as I stoke her neck. Mizuki walks up to my side. “How did you do that…? That was amazing!” She says. “Here I’ll walk with you back.” She says. We start to walk back. “Kiriyu is awesome… he easily tamed that horse… as expected from the Day Class who can stand up to Kaname Kuran…Kiriyu is our Day Class’ idol! So horrible, The Night Class’ guys, all look down on us! And he gets to be with Mizuki all the time! It’s not fair! When we get close to her she runs away!” The boys say. I look over at Mizuki and she blushes. “Zero! I’m sorry” Yuuki says as she runs toward us. “Even though Lily is bad tempered, this is the only time she’s run away… but why would she just suddenly…” Yuuki started to ask. “She must have felt a horrible atmosphere.” I say. “Yes it’s because THEY are watching us…” Mizuki says as she turns to look at the Moon Dorm.

Night Class:

In the library Takuma looks out the window. “Um… that gave me a fright. That hose is very sensitive. The moment I had opened the window, that horse kicked Yuuki and went mad… Is the smell really that hated by plants and animals…?” Takuma asks as he sniffs his hand. “What do you think Kaname? Today is a holiday, a rare occasion… such a torture… you can’t spend your time enjoying yourself.” He says as he closes the window. “That founding institution keeps sending reports, it’s so irritating…” Kaname says. “Oh yes of course, forcing your self to write essays because of those old fogeys… I’m such a dizzy person that loves to read manga, so I can’t imagine doing that kind of thing.” Takuma says as the window clicks shut. “And Yuuki was kicked by the horse on the butt so she’ll be fine…”Takuma says as he glances at Kaname. “Is that right…” he says. “Eh? You… really are concerned about it, right?” Takuma says surprised. Kaname looks back at Takuma. Takuma smiles at him and says, “I think I will go back to reading…” “Ichijou.” Kaname calls him. “…What is it? Kaname.” Takuma says as he ruffles his hair.

Mizuki’s POV:

“Ah…! It’s been a long time since I can out for a walk! It’s only because the chairman gave us an errand to run. But still I can enjoy the privilege of coming outside! Cross Academy restricts students from leaving school grounds.” Yuuki says happily as she skips. Finally I can be free! Maybe I can sneak away and sing at a club or something. “Come! Don’t look so bored Zero! You should… Take this opportunity to spread your wings!” Yuuki says. “I don’t have any wings to spread…” Zero says with a bored expression. “Hahaha” I laugh. “Why are you so gloomy? Let’s go Let’s go! And don’t worry that sort of thing will grow eventually!” Yuuki says as she tugs Zero’s arm. I giggle again. “Come on Zero! This could be fun!” I say. “Fine…” He says looking slightly not as bored. As we walk along I let Yuuki go a head and I stuck with Zero. “So… uhm…I thought maybe I could ditch you guys so I could sing at a club… but I’ll wait.” I whisper so Yuuki wouldn’t hear me. “I knew that already.” Zero says. Shoot! “Well I dance too…” I say. He didn’t seem surprised at that. “Did you know that too? Stalker!” I say jokingly. “No… but you have a dancers grace” he says. Did he just give me a compliment? I blush. “The reason why White Lily trusts me is because sometimes when I skip class I go and sleep in her stall.” He says. “Oh… well now we are even!” I say. “We both said something we knew about each other and something we didn’t.” I explain. Yuuki hands over huge load of things to Zero. “Let me see what else the headmaster wants us to get… he wants us to do arrangements, buy cow liver, green veggies and…” Yuuki reads off the list. “Any more…?” zero asks as he drags along. I take a bag from him to carry. “Ah! Wait a sec! Zero, Zero!” Yuuki says as she pulls is arm for the tenth time today. She runs over to a cloths stand. “We need to get back to the school before sundown…” Zero says as he looks at the sky. “No need to worry, tonight the Night Class will be resting. They won’t leave the Dorms.” She says. “Ok give me your arm. Don’t worry, as long as you can let go it’s alright. If there is no one to help you choose… the feeling you give people… it’s just like a younger brother who you can’t help worrying about.” Yuuki says as she measures him. Zero turns around hiding the pain in his eyes. She hit a nerve. “No I made him pissed.” Yuuki says holding the shirt for Zero. “You are so humorous, even though you’re a year younger than me and Mizuki…” Zero says as he looks back.
