Scott's eyes shot opened, his heart racing as he tried to make sense of the situation he was in. The last thing he remembered was being shot at in Derek's house and passing out in the woods. He sat up just when his eyes fell on his boss, who was standing at the table in the corner. The boy blinked trying to make sure he was hallucinating.

"Welcome back to the land of the conscious. You doing okay?" Deaton asked him and Scott stood up from the table causing him to stumble forward.

Deaton chuckled at his attempt. "Maybe you should sit down, huh?" Deaton suggested to him. The bell jingled causing Scott to frown but he suddenly felt a chill run down his back. It immediately alerted him of who the person was. Deaton walked out, stopping at the entrance of the examination room.

"Hello?" Deaton called out and Scott heard the door closing.

"I'm sorry, but we're. . .We're closed." Deaton looked at the man in front of him.

"Hi there. I'm here to pick up," the man said, causing Scott in the back to go hide in a corner. "I'm not sure I remember you dropping off," Deaton said calmly. "This one wandered in on its own."

"Even if he did, I'm afraid I can't help you. We're closed," Deaton told him.

"I think you can make an exception this one time. Don't you?"

"I'm sorry. That's not going to be possible. Maybe you could come back during regular hours," Deaton said, looking straight at Peter not flinching or hesitating at all.

"You have something of mine. I'm here to collect it," Peter told him walking closer. "Like I said, we're closed." Peter sighed and ran his hand against the woods that was separating him from the man. A soft static sizzle could be heard as he draghed his hand over it.

"Mountain ash. That's an old one," Peter said, looking at the man from under his eyebrows. Peter turned around, picking up a chair, throwing it at Deaton but it broke against the mountain ash barrier.

"Let me be as clear as possible. We are closed."

Peter walked towards the door but stopped knowing that Scott can hear him. "There are others who can help me get what I want, Scott. More innocent and far more vulnerable," Peter whispered to himself and Scott's eyes widened in realisation.

"Layla!" Scott said, his eyes wide. He had to stop him before he did something to the girl.
