Layla had spend most of the night studying but she didn't even feel tired. The girl however did forget to charge her phone last night and now she had to go on with a phone that was low on battery. She wondered if she could charge it in the library. It had been a while since she visited Mrs Herby and the two gushed over the new episodes of One Piece.

Layla was walking through the school, books in her hand while Lydia was walking ahead of her. The redhead decided this morning that she wanted to ride with Layla but it took almost an hour for her to get ready. It felt like she was waiting forever for her. Layla was afraid they wouldn't make it to school in time.

The brunette glanced down when she felt her phone vibrating in her pocket. She tried to take her phone out, but she walked straight into someone causing her books to fall ans spread on to the floor.

“Oh my gosh,” she jumped, looking down at her books before looking up at the person.
“You scared the living crap out of me,” Layla said, her hand on her chest.

“You're okay,” Scott says with a relieved smile on his face. “Once my heart starts beating again, yeah,“ Layla said, crouching down to pick up her books. She looked at Scott and saw him staring at her.

“What?”

“I'm just really happy to see you,” he stated.

Layla smiled at the boy. “Attention, students, this is your principal. I know you're all wondering about the incident that occurred last night to one of our buses. While the police work to determine what happened, classes will proceed as scheduled. Thank you,” the principal said over the intercom.

Layla sighed, looking back at Scott while the students around them groaned. She reached up to ruffle his hair. “Save me a seat at lunch?”

“Yeah,” he said nodding. Layla smiled, leaning to kiss his cheek.

He watched as she walked off. She didn't know relieved he was seeing her.
