On the way to the " Duel "

I didn't want trouble,

I didn't even want to kill him,

My god i hope he doesn't shoot me.....

 I was shaking as we rode across the river to new Jersey, 

My heart was pumping,

Chest was screaming,

My Mind was running,

I told myself i'm ready for this duel.

- Burr -

I know that he going to shoot me,

I know it.....

I told everyone that i didn't want this but....

As we rode to New Jersey across the river 

I knew it was a lie,

I know deep down in my heart that i want this man's blood to leave his body,

I told myself i was ready for this duel.

I was Johns 2nd...

I knew something wasn't right as soon as we arrived 

Burr had this look in his eye like 

He wanted John to die

So i told John don't shoot if it doesn't feel right

But he said Fate had already made his choice....

- Madison -

I was Burr's 2nd,

But he kept this look in his eye,

I knew something was right...

I hope that Hamilton notices this too,

Before its too late....
