4- The Truth of time gone

Third POV
The open guild hall doors revealed the angry blonde lightning wizard standing in front of his three very confused teammates.
As soon as he saw the green eyed woman turn around he blasted his lighting, making her smash into the wall.
He watched her slide down the wall and then face plant onto the floor.
The cries of outrage from the other members of the guild echoed round the guild hall.

Eilora POV
I gradually moved my hands to prop myself up onto knees. Whilst doing this I heard Natsu scream at The lightning wizard,
"What the hell, do you think you're doing Laxus!".
I was helped off the ground and back onto my feet by Wendy and Lucy.
I looked up to see Natsu, Gray and Erza standing in front of me, all of them in fighting stances blocking me from view from Laxus.

"Move, out of the way" Laxus yelled at them, whilst sparks flew around him making him look like as bright as a star.
"She's barely been back a day and you're already trying to fry her, that's just messed up man!" Gray shouted at him though all he got back from Laxus was long low growl.

"You know Laxus, if you wanted to fight me you could of asked nicely, instead of throwing me into a wall" I said in a teasing him I made myself just loud enough so he could hear, I then started walking forward towards him.

"No, Eil stay back" Natsu said throwing an arm my way making me stop.
"Laxus, What is the meaning all this, Eilora was your best friend, why would you just attack her like that after not seeing her for 13 years?" Erza asked with desperation in her voice, she knew if Laxus did not calm down soon someone was bound to get hurt. "Maybe you should ask her, though I'm sure you remember what she did, Erza" Laxus said through gritted teeth staring at me with pure fury.

I widen my eyes in shock and guilt, how did he figure out? I was sure the enchantment should of worked, but maybe when he saw me he somehow realised what I did, no that can't be, he wouldn't have this much emotion if he only just found out, the enchantment was made specifically so he wouldn't make this kind of reaction.

"When did you remember?" Erza yelled at Laxus whilst the rest of guild gave each other looks of confusion on what on earth they could be talking about.

"Impossible..." I muttered under my breath.

"I realised when I was kicked out the guild" Laxus shouted at Erza and me.
"Wait, he got kicked ou-" I started saying before Laxus interrupted me
"Once I got kicked out, I explored places and rethought my entire life, though for some reason when I thought about my late childhood and teenage memories they felt emotionless and fuzzy, like something was missing" I looked away from Laxus with guilt, I saw the sadness and lost in his eyes, and I quickly realised that all he wanted to do was to vent the anger and emotion of being betrayed and lost by his best friend.

"Erza, Natsu, Gray stand down I will handle this myself" I said whilst pushing past the arm which Natsu still had out.

"But Eir-" Gray protested,
"Not now Gray this is my fault and I will deal with the punishment".

I stood in front of my friends facing Laxus straight on. I felt an hand on my shoulder that was about to pull me back but I simply said "Don't". The weight of the hand on my shoulder was lifted. I looked into the grey eyes that were filled with fury, sadness and loss. I felt my eyes tear up and I said whilst placing my hands towards to each side of the room "Do it".

The first punch went straight to my jaw, making me slid back a foot or two, I still had my hands to each side of room, I was using my telekinesis to prevent any of my guild mates to get involved.
I then felt another punch this time to stomach. Then another to the left side of my face then the right then my stomach again. I being used as a human punching bag, but I knew this is what I deserved for using my powers against the people I love. I heard Laxus say in between the punches
"How could you?"
"I was your best friend"
"But you betrayed me"
"You made it so I could barely remember you"
"Even though I told you not to"
I saw the sadness filling his dark grey eyes.
