Chapter 6- Chain

(Y/n) had officially broke. And with that, Error turned against him too. They were still at the studio with NCT, but the filming had stopped and the fighting had only just begun.

"How could you not tell us? We're supposed to be a team!" Max yelled. This only fueled (y/n)'s anger.

"It's my business, Max hyung! How the hell do you think I could tell you guys something like that? Especially in these circumstances! We're litterally rushing to finish a music video for a song we just recorded with little to no touch ups!" He yelled back.

NCT watched from the sidelines, along with Hyungwoo, Yi Hyun, and Haechul. Yi Hyun was starting to notice Hongseok's anxious behavior, so he decided to step in.

"Guys, why don't we just-"

"Shut up Yi Hyun! Just shut up!" Chaemin yelled at the poor boy, so Lucas moved to comfort him.

"Don't talk to him like that!" (Y/n) commanded.

"I don't understand why you even care. All you seem to care about is yourself!" Chaemin shouted.

"He's right, (y/n). You have been acting selfish. We're all stressed right now and you're making everything about you," Min Su said more gently, yet his words still cut the leader.

"You too, Min Su? I don't believe you guys right now. How the hell am I being selfish? Tell me because I'd like to know!" He fumed. Hyungwoo and Yi Hyun were trying to calm Hongseok's erratic breathing, while Haechul was trying to calm down the older members.

Jay, Min Su, Chaemin, and Max were all angered and fighting their leader. It was obviously an unfair fight, but the four boys didn't seem to care. (Y/n) was so emotional and wanted to cry, but he knew that would make things worse.

"Do you even understand my situation?" The leader asked, his voice quiet. They just glared at him with anger in their eyes.

"I just found out that my mother is brain dead. I'll never get to talk to her, hear her laugh, listen to her stories, or even see her smile ever again. She's the only person that supported my dream, and now because of my and my selfishness, she's dead," he said and the older boys's faces softened.

I killed my mother. I killed Hongseok's mother. Now I don't know what I'm going to do because I'm his legal guardian, but I can't afford to take care of him. I can't just ask my aunt to quit her job and take care of him 24/7. I didn't tell you guys because I knew you were stressed, and that's also my fault.

Everything thing is my fault. I'm sorry that I disappointed you, but I don't know what to do anymore," he finished, his face void of any emotion, but his members could tell he was broken. They just didn't know how to fix him.

The boys of NCT were shocked to say the least. They just watched as (y/n) took hold of Hongseok's hand and walked away. They figured he was going to drop him off at his aunt's house, and they were right.

"You guys have every right to be mad, but you completely ignored (y/n) hyung's feelings. He just lost his mom. I think you should apologize," Jeno said, not knowing if he should say anything or not.

"Yeah, you think?" Jay growled uncharacteristically. He was always the one that diffused situations like this, but he just wasn't having the leader's behavior.

"We took it too far, but he put us into this situation in the first place. Because of his actions, everyone in this room is stressed. We could even lose our jobs if this goes wrong, but you guys will just bounce back! No one will bother you, but Error will be destroyed," Max yelled at Jeno.

"Hyung just calm down please," Haechul pleaded with the eldest of the group.

"Shut the hell up, Haechul! I don't need to hear your stupid voice right now!" Max yelled and instantly regretted it. "Haechul I'm sorry I didn't mean it."
