The waves crashed against the sand as tears silently poured down his face. He sat on the rocks of the beach in thought. (Y/n)'s outburst had taken a toll on him, but it felt good to let out his emotions for once.

The wind gently blew his hair from his face as he simply thought. He wasn't thinking about anything in particular, it was just everything at once. The boy felt a familiar sensation on his arm and looked down to see his soulmate's neat handwriting.

'Do you want to talk?' It read. (Y/n) sighed and shook his head before grabbing the permanent marker he had in his shirt pocket.

'My emotions are a mess right now. I don't know if talking would make me feel better,' he wrote.

'I'm always here for you. I want to be able to help you when you need me, so don't hesitate to write,' (y/n)'s soulmate wrote.

'Can I tell you something personal?' (Y/n) asked the person behind the writing. He wanted to get something off his chest for the longest time.

'Yeah, of course,' he got in response. The idol let out a shaky breath as he put the marker to his skin, tears still falling from his eyes.

'I don't want to meet you,' he informed his soulmate. The tears came faster as he read what he wrote.

'What? Why?' His soulmate wrote back. (Y/n) was sobbing again at this point. He couldn't take it anymore.

'You'll only be disappointed if we meet,' he wrote down before putting his head in his hands and sobbing again.

Taeyong was shocked when he read what was on his arm. He knew his soulmate was going through a tough time. He wanted to tell them that everything would be okay and hold them and love them, but they didn't want to meet him.

"Hyung, what's wrong?" Jaemin asked as he looked at his distressed hyung.

"Just soulmate stuff. They said they didn't want to meet me," he said sadly.

"I'm sure they dont mean it. It's getting late, so go to sleep soon or you'll complain in the morning," the younger said before waving goodbye and leaving to his own room to sleep.

Taeyong couldn't stop thinking about it. It was like a plague that wiped out every other thought but the words of his soulmate.

Why would they say that? Taeyong knew he would love his soulmate no matter what. At least, he believed that. He started fearing what his soulmate would do if they ever met.

And all these thoughts led to him doubting himself. Would he even be good enough for his soulmate? Would he be able to make them happy? These thoughts flooded his mind until he fell into a restless sleep.

(Y/n)'s tears had dried and he decided it was about time to go home. He didnt even think to check if there would be a train going back to Seoul. He scolded himself quietly and he walked back to the station.

"Fuck," he mumbled to himself as he read that there would be no trains until the next morning. He pulled out his phone and checked the time; 3:37 a.m.

He tried calling all of his members, but they all went to voicemail. "Shit, why am I such a mess?" He asked himself as he checked how long it would take him to walk home. He sighed when he saw it would take close to three hours to get back.
