Seth and Jane had stuck around for a few hours before we left for the bonfire

Seth and Jane had stuck around for a few hours before we left for the bonfire. The blonde girl hadn't spoken much since she hugged me after my big speech. The two of us were now sitting in my room as I got changed out of my black work-out clothes.

Jane's golden eyes looked around my room, looking at the different pictures of Bella and I as well as those I took on the run. She got up off my bed and walked over to a particular picture that I couldn't bring myself to look at.

"I took that the night before the battle. It was a moment between them that I had to capture, little did I know it would be the last picture I took of together."

Jane smiled sadly as she placed the frame back down and she turned to face me.

"Do you miss her?"

Jane's soft tone surprised me. I don't think I'd ever heard anything but venom in her voice before.

"I miss her with every bone in my body. She was my responsibility, it was my job to protect her, and she chose what she chose, not knowing it would get her killed. Sometimes I wish she hadn't moved here, she'd still be alive then."

I felt tears gather in my eyes, but I blinked them back before Jane could see them fall.

"Do you ever miss Alec?"

Jane stiffened at the mention of his name. Her golden eyes glazed over and her proper posture slouched.

"He was my twin brother. We had never been separated in all our lives. We were born together, we died together, we went on every mission together. He was supposed to see me fall in love, get married. He was supposed to meet a nice girl who would accept all of his flaws and he was supposed to marry her. We had so many late night just talking about things we'd never admit to Felix or Demetri. We would always talk about our futures after we found our mates, what would happen. He wanted a nice little house out somewhere in the country away from the humans, with his mate. He wanted to adopt a baby or two and try to have a normal life. We had talked many times about leaving the Volturi and trying to have a normal life, but I was the only one that got to live out that dream."

If Jane had been a Traditional or even human, she would have been crying. Her voice started to choke up about halfway through her speech about Alec, and I felt bad for the girl. I had tears running down my face as I looked at the blonde girl.

"We can get through this together. Live out our siblings' dreams for us, make them happy for us. It'll take some time, but it'll be worth it in the end."

Jane smiled at me and brought me into a hug. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her tiny body, enjoying the little bonding moment we were having.

"Are you ready to go?"

Kol appeared in the doorway, smirking at the two of us.

"You know, if she wasn't dating a wolf and you didn't have your heart broken by my idiotic brother, I'd ask if you two would like to have a little fun."

I rolled my eyes as Jane looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I simply shook my head at her and wrapped my arm around her waist as we walked out of my room and down towards my car.

"Are you coming Mikaelson?"

The drive to the reservation was one that I had missed over the years. The familiar sights of the trees and La Push beach made me smile as I pulled into Jake's house.

Seth and Jane had beat Kol, Ness and I and were waiting with Billy.

The man in the wheelchair smiled at me as climbed out of the car.

"Piper Swan. It's good to see you again."

I smiled, crouching down to give Billy a hug.

"It's good to be back. I missed this place."

Billy smiled and motioned for us to follow him to the fire. I smiled, grabbing Kol's hand as Jane walked beside me. The whole pack was there. Paul, Jared, Embry, Quill, Seth, Jake, Brady, Collin, and Sam. The only person missing was Leah.

I smiled widely as the boys all came running to hug me. Paul was the first to scoop me up into his arms.

"PIPER!"

I laughed as the boys all took turns picking me and throwing me around like I was a ragdoll.

"Oh, how I missed my boys."

Jared sent me a cheeky smile.

"You know it."

I laughed, bringing them all into one big group hug.

"Now that everyone's here, let's get started."

I looked over at Kol who was standing awkwardly by himself.

I walked over to him and pulled him towards the logs, sitting in between Paul and Jake and Ness.

"The legends told by the elders are some of the best stories you've ever heard."

Kol looked over at me with a quizzical look as I stuck a marshmallow on a twin and held it over the fire.

"There was a prophecy told many years ago foretelling of a great battle that would change everything for the Quileute Tribe. Many lives would be lost, but many lives would be brought back from the great beyond. It was told that a blonde woman with superior strength and great speed would be the one to save us all. She had been created to destroy what she had come to love and would be the key to stopping the great witch that would plague the Earth. She would assemble a great deal of spectacular creatures, witches, vampires and wolves alike would all join forces to stop this formidable Fein."

Images flashed in my head as Billy told the prophecy. A great battlefield with long cracks running through it. Fresh snow starting to coat the ground. Hundreds of people standing on the other side, and directly in the middle, a woman with dirty blonde hair and a wicked smirk on her face.

I grabbed my head as a sharp pain shot through my mind.

'My darling Piper, your journey is only beginning. The end is coming, and you will be at the center of it all.'

That same voice from so many years ago plagued my mind as the world began to spin and finally went dark.
