One year and eight months later

I chuckled lightly as Alice ran around like a chicken with her head cut off. She was muttering things to herself that none of us could really understand.

It took us a while to adjust back to normal after the battle with Esther. In the hours after she had been killed, the Cold Ones that had been brought back suddenly started to move, signaling their return from the dead. Irina, Aro, Caius, Marcus, Didyme, Felix, Alec Carlisle, Edward, and Bella. They had all come back. Promising that Athenodora and Sulpicia would continue to run the Volturi as they had been, we let the newly reunited Kings and Queens took their leave for Volterra. Irina gladly reunited with her sisters and her coven, apologizing for what she had done and what she had caused. They welcomed her back with open arms, with unshed tears in their eyes as they welcomed their sister back.

I don't think I had ever seen Jane more emotional than when she hugged her brother for the first time in five years. She had dry sobbed into his shoulder for what seemed like hours and she said his name over and over again. It really brought tears to my eyes to see the twins back together again, but what really made me cry was to see Alec bring Seth into a hug, thanking him for taking care of his sister.

Seeing Carlisle and Esme together after so long gave me chills as I watched them embrace one another, Carlisle placing sweet butterfly kisses all over Esme's face as the woman had his face in her hands, as she just looked into his eyes. It really made my heart melt that Esme got her husband back.

The first thing that Edward and Bella did was hug their daughter as she cried into their chests. I can remember just waiting to finally hug my sister again, but I let them have their time, and when I finally did get to hug my sister again, I was full on bawling. I must have stayed in her arms for a good ten minutes as I just cried onto her shoulder, breathing in her scent and never wanting to let her go again.

And that brings us to the present day as Alice and the rest of the females in the house rushed around, doing last minute preparations for tomorrow's event. I smiled lightly feeling Jasper place his arm around my shoulder, kissing the top of my head.

"I don't think I've seen your wife this crazy in years."

Jasper chuckled as he watched his wife rush past us to grab something that she had forgotten.

"How are you feeling?"

I rolled my eyes as I took a sip of my tea, letting the warm liquid flow down my throat.

After the battle with Esther, the Witches from the Other Side granted the Vampires with aspects of Humanity, giving us all back what we had missed the most and what we wanted most of all. The Other Side Witches had gifted the Vampires with the gift of procreation, they had taken away the bloodlust, all vampires could now freely roam around in the sun without burning or sparkling, the Cold Ones could now eat and sleep, we had been given everything we had ever wished for.
