My Aurora

Ch.2

Octavia POV

We decided it was best to keep me in my room for at least a week until everyone was calm again.
"What do we do?, I can't stay here forever." I ask Lincoln. "Don't worry about it, Abby will be here soon." He tells me in a calming voice.

A little later we both hear a knock at the door. I went to go let Abby in but Lincoln grabbed my arm and stopped me. "We don't know if it's her or not."
He opens the door as he tells me to stay back. "Hello Lincoln" I hear a very tired Abby say.
She tells me to lay on my bed and I do. It takes me back to when I had my first ultrasound.
"I think by now I can see what gender you're having Octavia" she tells me with a smile on her face.
"Oh". I can't wait to find out if I'm going to have a boy or a girl. I want a girl so I can turn her in to a mini badass like me, but I also want a boy. I know I'll be happy with whatever result comes out.
"You're having a little baby girl, Octavia" she tells me.
I was so happy I didn't even realize Lincoln hugging me.

A few hours go by and I'm still a prisoner to these walls. Lincoln left to fill my shoes at a meeting with Indra and all the head commanders of the different clans. While he was gone I snuck out to sit in one of the back rooms. No matter where I am I'm always a prisoner to a room. I walk out of my room and see people talking over in the other halls. I travel the walls until I'm in a back room. I sit on the floor and put my had on my stomach.
"The only thing you will ever know for the first 6 years of you're life are these walls." I speak to my baby bump. "You may see you're mommy from time to time get mad at the other children or get mad at people and u may even see mommy kill, but I will never harm you. I will never yell at you because you're not like anyone else here. You're a special kid and I'll make sure nobody harms you. Even when you're grown and have a family of you're own to take of"
The thought of her being grown and having kids and then her kids having kids was sort of nerve racking. I forgot about the fact that babies grow up one day. My thoughts are interrupted by people running down the halls. I remembered I left the door open to my room. People were looking for me. Some were worried and others wanted to kill me. I backed into a corner as soon as I hear someone open the door. I prayed they didn't see me or that they would leave. "Octavia?"
It was Lincoln.
I was so happy he was here. I jumped into his arms as he hugged me. I noticed he was getting stronger. We was always working out. His muscles were so big that they scared off people when we walked out the door. He walked me back to our room and locked it.
"What were you thinking, Octavia?". He asked.
I didn't say anything.
"One of you girls could have gotten hurt." I could tell he was mad but I couldn't help but blush at the fact he said "you girls".
"You meant "you girls" as in me and Aurora, right?" I asked.
"Well ye-, who's Aurora?" He asked.
It just slipped out of my mouth.
"I was hopping that was our name for her."
I tell him while closing my eyes hopping he's ok with it.
"That's an amazing name Octavia." He tells me as he walks over to me.
"Really?"
"Yes I think it's great you're naming our baby after you're mother." He tells me as we kiss passionately. He began to rub in between my thighs and I bit his lip. He starts to undo my pants but I stop him. "Lincoln, Abby said we can't have sex until 5 months." I scold Lincoln
"Ok fine, but after that baby is out you're gonna have the best night of you're life." He tells me in a sexy tone.

After a week I decide to go to a meeting. People stare and whisper but they know not to say anything with Lincoln a few feet away from my chair watching my every move. Even if someone brushed up against me, he would flinch to grab his sword. The meeting was the same old stuff about population control. The whole time I was zoned out. After the meeting I got up out of my chair when someone grabbed my arm but before they could do anything Lincoln grabbed my other arm tighter and pulled me away.
"You don't always have to be so jumpy you know" I tell him.
"I'm not taking any chance with either of you getting hurt." He said as he puts a hand on my stomach. He kissed me then we walk out. Even when walking he still is ready to fight anyone who breaths in my direction. We holds my hand tight as we move through crowds. Indra is right behind me making sure I'm safe. She puts a hand on my back for comfort. We reach our room and I'm let in first. Indra closes the door behind me and Lincoln. I began walking to our bed right as I feel a sharp pain in my back.
