Lindsey POV

After fixing the cabinet in the doctors lounge, Lindsey thought he better go back up to the fourth floor and check all the thermostats. Keeping Bette Packer happy along with the staff and patients of the geriatric ward is a priority for him. Maybe catching another glimpse of that student nurse can't hurt anything either he thinks.

Lindsey checks the temperature in several different places on the floor and saves the hallway thermostat by the activities room for last. As he walks down the hallway he arrives at his destination. As he begins to test the thermostat, he hears a perfect alto womans singing voice coming from inside the room.

When will I be loved
When will I be loved
Tell me when will I be loved

Completely captivated Lindsey looks around the corner of the door and sees Stevie singing as she interacts with the patients. They are all in a state similar to Lindsey, enthralled by the petite songstress disguised as a nurse. He also notices another interloper in the activites room, none other than Dr Mick Fleetwood.

Lindsey has only spoke to him a few times but found him to be a gregarious sort. Bette Packer has mentioned to him that Dr Fleetwood is a notorious flirt with the nurses or really any of the younger females working in the hospital. Everyone knows he's a top notch surgeon, evidently he finds multiple uses for his talented hands Lindsey has mused on occasion.

At this time however Lindsey finds himself mildly irritated with his presence. He seems to be particularly keen on a young blonde nurse that makes Lindsey's heart skip a beat every time he sees her. He looks on as Fleetwood watches Stevie's every move.

Suddenly he hears a page over the intercom

"Maintenance please call the kitchen at 221."

Lindsey ducks back out in the hallway and uses the nearby phone to call the kitchen. Just as he suspected the main garbage disposal is acting up again. Lindsey hangs up and sighs thinking

"Well this job is going to take up the rest of my day, so much for stalking any pretty young ladies."

He laughs out loud at his inner joke as he makes his way to his office in the basement to retrieve some tools. He finds himself humming the Linda Ronstadt song Stevie sang all the rest of his workday.

Stevie POV

Back in the activities room the nurses and volunteers are busy escorting the patients back to their rooms so they can rest before lunch time. Stevie is helping Louise back to her room as Dr Fleetwood follows behind. He is saying to Stevie

"My dear you sing as I imagine the angels in heaven might!"

"You are just as beautiful as any angel could be as well love, you must have performed in other venues?"

They arrive at Louise's room, as she escorts her to her bed Steve responds

"Oh I've sang in a few different places before, thank you for the compliments Dr Fleetwood."

He replies quickly

"Mick darling, you must call me Mick!"

From outside the room they all hear Bette Packer clear her throat and say from the hallway

"My nurses all will address you and all the other doctors in a professional manner Dr Fleetwood."

"Is there anything else we can do for you doctor?"

"If not we have work to do."

Dr Fleetwood frowns clearly irritated by the interference. He looks out into the hallway and says
