Stevie POV

Stevie goes back inside and rejoins her friends and Mick at the table. Fleetwood has provided another round of drinks and by Stevie's quick count this makes six margaritas for Robin already. As Robin works on number seven Stevie says to Mick

"No more rounds for us, Robin will yak for sure."

Robin turns to Stevie and says in a indignant if not slurred manner

"I most certainly will not, I'm having fun!"

"Thank you for the booze Mick, your tops!"

Stevie rolls her eyes as Scott turns and says to Robin

"Maybe we should go get some fresh air?"

  Robin slurs replying

"Absolutely darliiinng I'd love to get you alone!"

Stevie rolls her eyes while Scott chuckles. Mick interjects

"Perhaps we should all get up and sing a tune?"

"While Stevie and Lindsey where performing I took the liberty of requesting an appropriate song for us!"

Robin immediately jumps up and says

"That sounds like fun there Micks!"

  "What are we waiting for?"

Almost on que the emcee announces

"Next we have Mick Fleetwood and his friends singing Margaritaville!"

What the group doesn't know is Mick tipped the emcee and the house band a considerable amount to get them moved up so quickly.

Robin is practically jumping up and down saying

"Come on Steve's, Scott it will be fun?"

Stevie looks at Scott who shakes his head as he arises, Robin grabs his hand dragging him to the stage. Mick offers Stevie his hand and says

"Come along now Stevie, we shan't disappoint your mates!'

Stevie reluctantly takes his hand and goes back up with him to join the others. She can't shake the feeling this is all wrong without Lindsey. This was supposed to be their night. Soon they are all standing there on stage, Scott on one end and Mick on the other with the gals in between. The song starts and Robin and Mick immediately jump into song. Stevie can hear Scott singing along in a quieter tone

  Nibblin on a sponge cake
  Watchin the sun bake
All of those tourists covered in oil
  Strummin my six string
  On my front porch swing
  Smell those shrimp
  There beginning to boil

Stevie turns seeing Robin glaring. She knows she better go along with her or she may have a drunken fit. She starts to sing harmonizing with the others the best she can

  Wasted away aging in Margaritaville
Searchin for my lost shaker of salt
  Some people say
  There's a woman to blame
But I know its nobody's fault

  Don't know the reason
  Stayed here all season
  Nothing to show
  But this brand new tattoo
  But it's a real cutey
  A Mexican beauty
  How it got there
  I haven't a clue

Stevie feels Mick's hand on her middle back as they all sing. She can feel the heat and sweat from his palms and fingertips starting to dampen the fabric of her denim dress. She tries to step up a bit to get away but he just grips her tighter. She does her best to continue singing like nothing is going on.
