Itzel's heart still beat with an anxious feeling, all she wanted was to smile. She felt somewhat satisfied but not truly enough, whenever she remembered over and over again seeing him in that hotel lobby.

It wasn't how Itzel pictured they would meet again. Well she had so many scenarios play in her head. All those would be planned by both of them to meet, but this was different. It happened in a way she was glad that it did, so she could confirm her feelings, and not feel as if she subconsciously planned what to feel.

It was early, 6:30 in the morning. Both hearts had awaken their owners, their minds greeting them into the moring with the others face freshly imprinted.

Today was filled with things they had to get done, to be kept busy. They just wanted to be distracted, not having to be brought back to what had happended the night prior nor to the two years they were together in love.

Itzel sat on her bed, sleep still in her eyes. She groaned loudly, as she threw herself back onto her bed. Her body was ready to start the day, but yet all she wanted was to stay in bed all day and sleep.

A minute or two passed of her just staring at the ceiling, to her it showed her Namjoon's face but to others it would be a plain white ceiling. She finally managed to drag herself from her bed to the bathroom.

As she prepared to brush her teeth, she put the toliet seat lid down. Sitting down she looked at the door expecting someone to walk in. Itzel sat confused, thinking over her movements. Realizing what happened, she quickly got up to spit and rinse her mouth. But she returned to sit on the toliet seat lid again. Remembering their morning routine, she would wake up first to wash her face then sit on the toliet to brush her teeth while she watched Namjoon do the same. The way they would smile at each other with foam and toothbrush in their mouth. The way he would always make sure her glasses were clean, then place them carefully back onto her face. How they would be in comfortable silence or filled with their words and giggles.

Closing her eyes she let out a long sigh, not wanting to remember anymore of it but instead to relive it. She walked into the living room to check if her best friend had stayed the night. When she didn't see him, she went for her phone in her room. Turning on her phone she saw his message he sent not that long ago.

Went to pick up Lyza from the airport, we should be back in time to help you finish cooking.

She was dreading this day, honestly. She had no problem with Lyzabeth or anything. She was Itzel's cousin, they were like sisters. She just felt to lazy to cook, having to get everything ready by the afternoon for the carne asada that was planned to celebrate Lyza's birthday that was a week ago, and to her welcome back after being gone for nearly 4 months.

Her feet dragged across the floor, already tired of just the thought of cooking almost all day. Itzel reached for the refrigerator door. She pulled out meat to marinate for later, and vegetables she had to make into Pico de gallo and salsa.

She loudly groaned as finished placing the items on the kitchen island. Whenever they had a carne asada, she would always start in the afternoon, but since more than just her family were coming to see her, Jae and Lyzabeth, most were because of Lyza.

Blaise was excited for this day, being Lyza's boyfriend and all. They were always together, whenever Lyza and Itzel weren't hanging out, and being separated for a few months, he couldn't help but miss her.

Itzel was supposed to visit her family along with her cousin, but leaving Blaise alone wasn't what she wanted to do. So she stayed to keep her best friend company, which didn't turn out bad like she thought it would. She managed to keep him distracted with Jae, and especially now with the events that happened the day before.
