Marianna sat at the table beside Haruhi, listening to Tamaki ramble on about the importance of making a woman happy. Haruhi looked at Marianna and smiled softly, "Just be yourself. You're already as endearing as it is."
Marianna smiled softly and blushed, "Thank you, Haruhi."
The girls had become quite close during host club hours although one didn't know of the others true gender.
"Mori-senpai Doesn't it bother you how close Marianna and Haruhi are?" Hikaru asked a smirk donning his lips. Kaoru came up on the other side of Mori, "Yeah, I mean, Marianna doesn't know of Haruhi's secret yet. Right?"
Lightning struck behind Mori, a shadow casting over his face as his jaw dropped and eyes blew wide. The twins cackled in sync not paying attention to the clicks of heels walking up to them. "Why are you laughing?"
The twins stood up straight, speaking in sync, "Mo-"
Hands clasped over the twins mouth, Mori looming over them threateningly. "Game." He said. The twins nodded in fearful understanding and pulled green berets seemingly out if nowhere. "We're going to play the 'Which one is Hikaru game?'"
"With a twist." One twin added. This particular twin had a stronger arch in his eyebrows and an assertive voice.
"If you lose we get to go over to your house, senpai!" The other twin said. His voice was softer, submissive almost, his eyebrows were also straight, not arched. Marianna smiled, her answer already in mind, "Okay, I'll play."
The twins smirked and switched places a couple of times before posing and mirrored smirks, "Go ahead, senpai. Take a guess."
Marianna smiled and brushed past them, "the one on the right is Hikaru and the one on the left is Kaoru." She stood next to Mori now, her hands on her hips and her smile wide.
The twins had ceased all movement, merely glancing at her confident posture before curling their lips into a smug smirk. "You're wrong, Mari-chan." They sung. Marianna huffed out a laugh, her eyes no longer on them, "There's no way. Your eyebrows have different shapes. I don't know you all that well but I know Kaoru is the bottom when it comes to your act. So I just took a guess.""That doesn't explain much, Tsukasa-senpai." Ootori said, his finger pushing his glasses up delicately. Marianna smiled and looked down, "I studied a lot in Korea. If I wasn't working I was studying. I didn't have many friends. I remember reading a book on behavioral analysis and in there it talked about how people with a softer brow tend to be softspoken and submissive as opposed to people with a strong arch."
Kyoya Ootori smirked, "How appearance coincides with personality: The fundamentals of behavior analysis by Jung Hwa Min."
Marianna nodded, a soft smile across her face, "Yes, he's a fantastic writer."
Kyoya nodded once and turned back to his notebook, continuing his writing. The twins turned back and chattef amongst themselves, Kaoru glancing at Marianna every once in a while. Honey turned to Marianna from his seat on the sofa beside them, "Mari are you busy the day after tomorrow?"
Marianna thought about it for a bit and shook her head, "Not really. Why?"
"Kyo-chan invited us to his family's water park! And now I'm inviting you!" He cheered. Marianna smiled at his enthusiasm, "Thank you, Honey but I don't want to intrude on your v-"
"You're not." Mori said, his head in his hand. Marianna shook her head, "Still, I'll feel wei-"
"Just say yes, Tsukasa-san." Ootori said, his eyes never straying from his notebook. Marianna huffed almost unnoticeable before plastering a smile on her face, "Then I'll go, Honey. For you." Honey smiled and hugged her tightly, lifting her off the floor slightly before letting go and turning to Mori. "Pick her up right after school then okay, Takashi?"
"Yeah. "

Marianna started off well as a host. She was sitting with a small group of girls at a table near the corner. They were all giggling slightly, Marianna blushing from her cheeks outwards."Mori-senpai. "
The said boy turned, his eyes landing on the girl that called his name, "Hm."
"You really care for Tsukasa-senpai, don't you?" She said, her hand moving through her long hair as she spoke.
Mori couldn't decide if he wanted to answer so he only looked away, back to Marianna. The girls all smiled kindly at him and stood. "Thank you for your time, senpais."
They bowed and left, giggling all the way.
Marianna walked over to the two then, her smile wide. She sat down next to Mori and laid her head on his shoulder. "This was fun and all but I would really like to get out of this kimono."
"That's my fault, Mari-chan, Kyoya and I were trying to guess the correct size." Honey said, his eyes downcast. Kyoya spoke up then, his long fingers tapping away at his calculator. "I didn't take into account your figure, Tsukasa-senpai."
The twins came up then with Haruhi, "That's true, you're rather heavy."
Marianna's eyebrows rose so far up on her forehead at that comment. She stood to her full five feet of height and glared at the two, "What is that supposed to mean?""Nothing, you're just he-"
"What she means, you imbeciles," Haruhi began, "is for you to fix your answer. It was rude.""Why?" Kaoru asked.
"We were only telling the truth." Hikaru continued.Marianna came up as close as she could to boys, her brown eyes blazing. Mori stood beside her, watching them and Honey was in between them, Usa-chan clutched in his arms.
"Lackluster!"
The hosts turned to a girl with auburn hair and a giant bow. She was standing near Kyoya, paying no mind to Tamaki sitting in the corner angry.
"From now on, I will be the host clubs manager and my first order of business will be character changes for all of you!"
She began with Honey, "You will now be known as the cute face who is really a thug!
She pointed to Mori," You will be a childhood flunkie!"
Then to Marianna, "You will be in a love affair with the flunkie but engaged to him!"
She pointed to Haruhi, "You will be engaged to her and will also be known as the scholarship student that gets bullied."
"You twins will be basketball players shut up in your own world!"
"And Tamaki will be the lonely prince!"
Marianna blushed instantly, her eyes wide. "I don't think that'll be necessary." She and Haruhi chuckled nervously as they looked at each other, sweat dripping from their hairline.
"Nonsense! The only way to improve sales for my lovely's precious club is to milk your new characters for what they're worth!"

-The new girl stood with her hands on her hips and a proud smile. She had brought over a top-notch film crew from America and ordered around people all day.
Things got interesting when it came time for the shoot with Mari and Haruhi."Haruhi! I need you to sit on the bed and let Marianna tend to your wounds!"
"Hai."
Marianna sat with Haruhi, a false expression of worry on her face. "I just wish you'd at least think of asking for help next time."
"What makes you think there will be a next time?" Haruhi said, his honey eyes meeting Marianna's chocolate ones.
A blush rose to Marianna's cheeks at the prolonged eye contact so she looked down, examining the scar wax on Haruhi's arm. "If we don't care for this immediately it'll get infected."
Marianna felt two gentle fingers lift her chin up, "We?"
Red was an understatement when it came to describing Marianna's face.
"I think we're done, here! Renge-chan, I gotta- you kn- well, they're calling me so I gotta- bye!"
Haruhi stood up and shrugged as all the hosts stood with their shoulders slouched and their mouths hanging open.
"Were they-"
"Yeah."
"Oh."
