I woke up and sighed I sat up I shook my head I was going to school I didn't care who said what and I wouldn't let some pretty ass boy who gets everything he wants get me down I got up and walked out of my room. Good morning Lilith. Mom said as I sat down. Good morning. She looked at me. Nice outfit. I smiled and looked at the ripped black skinny jeans under it as it was a little short. How are we feeling today? Fine, dude slow down you're gonna choke. I said looking up from my own breakfast as I was having cerial I frowned at him. Dude you do realize you're gonna have issues later, right? He looked at the cerial he was eating and shrugged he asked mom for some juice I had gotten up to get a spoon. Hmm, not my color, Lilith? Nope I'm all for dark colors. Peter sighed and then said it. Her name's Letha. I turned. Lisa? No Letha, it's like Lisa, but with a lisp. I stood there and looked at him almost insulted mom smiled and had me turn and slouch as I was almost as tall as her she put a black bow headband in my hair and then I went and started to eat breakfast I shook my head as he said who Letha was and mom asked him to make sure that Roman knew it just wasn't to spite him. You're insane, are we sure he never got dropped on his head as a baby? Mom smiled. I am pretty sure, unless someone else had something to do with it and I was never told. Someone else? I said finishing and then putting my stuff in the sink I walked to my room to get stuff gathered up for school

What the hell was that about? I asked still shoveling cerial into my mouth. She's getting curious, about him. She said very slowly trying to word it right I dropped my spoon. And I'm just now hearing about this?!? What started it?!? Destiny wouldn't say, she just said she was getting curious. I put my head in my hand. Damnit Lilith! Peter she wants to know ab- but he didn't even give enough shit to actually care! He up and left as soon as he found out you were pregnant like any dead beat! I said standing up and putting my bowl in the sink. So what now? I asked looking at mom. At some point she'll find out. So do we tell her? Stall her. Mom said patting my shoulder before walking off. We were walking home school Peter was pretty quiet I sighed. What did she mean by someone else? He tensed up but then tried to relax. The people she named off. No, they liked you too much, they would have been really careful when holding you. Who do you think she meant? He asked glancing at me. Our dad, well not our dad cause he really wasn't there but I have no idea what to call him. Nothing you call HIM nothing you said so yourself he wasn't there you have your answers now drop it. I stopped he kept walking and then stopped and turned. What? Seriously?!? You never get just the slightest bit jealous?!? He frowned and walked over. Ok then explain. I looked down. Never mind if you're gonna be a jerk about it. Lilith. Fine ok I want to know more than I do! It's not fair everyone else gets to have a dad but I don't, I'm already enough of a freak and that's just icing on the cake! Lils you think that's icing on the cake for freakness? Hun your freak problems haven't even started yet. He said walking off. Besides you wouldn't have liked him. He said as I caught up. He was a jerk when I was around, always drunk and always smoking, not even the good kind for five years he would just pretty much do his worst with out mom finding out, one lovely day that I will never forget mom came home from a doctor's appointment and said she was pregnant... Same day he said he was out of cigarettes and was gonna go get some... Never came back. Oh great thanks Peter now I'm the reason why he left. I said about to cry He crouched and put his hands on my shoulders. Lilith if he left because of you, that's on him I mean seriously what asshole wouldn't want to meat someone like you and be able to say that's my daughter? I hugged him he stood picking me up. Seriously dude where does the food you eat go?!? I laughed some.

Peter put me down before  we walked into the house mom was already home I went in still thinking about what Peter said. Hey guys, how was school. Fine. I said putting my bag down still a bit angry. Mom stalling needs to uh stop on your end. I turned and looked at them. Are you kidding?!? You've been stalling?!? I gave a bird mom sighed nodding. I deserved that. She said standing wand walking over to the drawer that we kept the stupid picture on she dug around and pulled out two birth certificates Peter all but pushed me to the middle of the couch both of them sat on either side mom put them down. I looked at Peter's the line next to moms was blank I frowned and looked at mine same thing. He didn't show up to Peter's because he had been arrested for a DUI he didn't shoe up for yours because he had walked out, he never cared. Peter stood and walked to his room and came back. The only time I remember him actually being there for something was by accident, I was still in little league and he was on a walk to meat up with his drug dealer. He said sitting down. He stopped when he saw mom and said he forgot what time it started but he made it just in time to see me who was a horrible batter hit a home run winning the last game for that season. He said as he sat down a picture I looked at it, there was at least a five year old Peter being hugged from behind by this guy I frowned and looked at the picture. I'm sad to say I look like him. Nah you wear it better. I said kinda elbowing him he laughed. And then they started hugging me.

Skip next day
Peter was in a mood all day and I didn't know why so I kinda found ways to advoide him at the house but I knew I couldn't I walked outside and sat next to him on one of the chairs outside and kinda leanded on him. Thanks for talking bout him. I said as I really hadn't said it before. It's fine, you wanted to know, you deserved to know. I kinda sighed mom came out and gave him a drink I frowned. Seriously you condone this? He's seventeen the actual legal age to drink is twenty-one. That is unless you're a gypsy. I looked at mom and blinked. She said something about how Peter was acting since he had to break off the friendship with Roman. You wanted this so now you have to deal with the consequences. Wow you're advice is such a- I stopped as my band that connects my brackets popped. Damn, where are- you left them in the bathroom. Peter said as I jumped over the back of the couch and ran inside I put a new band on and smirked some I then emailed Shelley

So yesterday when I got home from school my mom and brother told me a bit about my dad... I was shocked to be honest that even Peter who spent five years of his life with the man didn't have anything good to say about him, but he shared a slight story with me as he saw how upset I was. I found out what caused him to leave... Anyway I hope that this makes you happy that I womaned up enough to actually bring up the subject.

I sighed and heard mom yelling at Peter some what I walked out. HEY! they turned. For once can we try to talk like normal human beings with out yelling?!? Your brother is going over to the Godfrey's. We got there and I was a little on edge as when I was here last time actually feared for my life and becoming a Upire's midnight snack. He rung the door bell and Mrs. Godfrey came to the door and answered it Peter did what he came to do and when she was saying goodbye Olivia cleared her throat. Lilith Darling. I nodded and then walked away Letha pulled up and I looked at Peter. I'm gonna head to Destiny's. He nodded. Hey Lilith. I turned and looked at Letha. You doing ok? My cousins not the one who's out of it... So like- no I mean from the other day. Yeah I'm fine. I said walking off my hands in my pockets not going to lie I felt so alone, my friend is up in her room not wanting to be near anyone due to her brother being on the verge of death, my brother aka my other friend is screwing his friends cousin and they both friends have been pulling away was it me? I noticed the fish and games wild life van she looked right at me as I passed by the car I shook my head this town was so messed up.
