Annalise was finally ready for the ball. She had a blade hidden on her outer thigh and her hair was up in and intricate messy bun, her eye patch covering their contract seal. She had long black gloves on her arms. Sebastian finished tying the boots she was wearing under the dress and helped her stand up. Annalise smiled slightly and spun around. Sebastian nodded and bowed. "We are done just in time to be off to the ball." She nodded and began to walk out of her room when she felt Sebastian grab her wrist and pull her back. Her eyes were wide as she stared up at him. "One last thing. Don't let anyone but me ever do that." He smirked holding her hand up as her looked down at her. Sebastian was holding her back forcing her to bend backwards so she wouldn't be so close to his face. She realized just how powerless she was against him. "Okay, I won't..." Annalise felt her cheeks getting hot and she realized why this felt familiar. Her betrothed did the same thing to her before she was taken. She blinked a few times. "How long have you had your eyes on my soul?" Sebastian pulled her up and let go of her hands. "That's nothing that you should be concerned about." He opened the door and walked down to the carriage that the host sent out to fetch her. She quickly recomposed herself and then followed Sebastian out to the carriage. Sebastian helped her into the carriage and then got in himself, knocking on the top of the carriage. With a jolt it started moving and Annalise jumped a bit. She felt Sebastian pat her head as he chuckled. Annalise looked up at him and smiled. She eventually fell asleep against Sebastian as she waited for them to arrive. Sebastian smiled as he held her close. She groaned a bit in her sleep and Sebastian laughed silently. "Oh dear my lady. You would be so easy to kidnap." He chuckled and the carriage stopped in front of the manor where the ball was being held.
