Bon blinked off the lingering dizziness from the flash and looked out at the crowded shops, still appearing slightly hazy.
A sneaky looking child, a bit older then her and her brother, lingered by a shop before grabbing an expensive looking piece of jewelry and running off. The lady at the shop yelled after kid."What?! HEY!" Bon shouted in surprise, wasting no time in running over to catch them.
But halfway to the stall she lost sight of them. Rats.
She stood next to the booth that had been robbed and looked around.Dan and Pip ran over after her.
"What happened? Please don't run off like that after just shouting and not telling us anything!" Dan pleaded, slightly out of breath.
"What did you see anyway?" Pip added. Before she could answer, Bon glanced around and to her surprise, the thief was back!
"Him!!" Bon shouted while grabbing his arm. They were about a foot taller then her, but she had a strong grip. "What do you think you're doing?! I definitely won't let you steal from this place again!"The young teen looked as terrified as they were confused. "Whoa, uh, w-what do you mean? I.. I haven't done anything!?"
"You're not fooling me! I saw you! Empty your pockets!" Bon commanded. She had a strong sense of Justice.
"No! I don't have to do anything, you're just accusing me out of nowhere!" They jerked their hand away.
"Hey!" Bon started, but at this point everyone around had noticed the scuffle.
"Bonnie, what are you talking about? This kid just walked up to the booth?"
The owner of the shop spoke up "Hey, girlie, you're causing a scene! I think I would've noticed if someone stole from me. Besides, all of my merchandise is here. You must be mistaken."
"Wha... No..!" Bon stammered, "I saw him... He ran away, and then... Came... Back... ... wait...!" Bon's eyes widened and looked distant.
She gently grabbed the hands of Pip and Dan and silently walked away.Bon thought for a moment. A long moment.
She had 'seen' the boy grab the jewelry, then run off in the opposite direction, but when she ran to the shop, he was back. There was no way he could have actually turned around and gotten back there so quickly. Besides that he didn't even have anything. But she had seen it, and he was there again.
There was only one explanation.
She must be psychic now! She must have seen the future right before it happened!!"Bonnie? Hey, Bonnie!" Pip had been saying gently.
"Bon? Bon-bon? Bon-a-roo? Hey, you ok kid?" Uncle Dan continued questioning."That's IT! That's the only explanation! Guys, I saw the future!!" Bon exclaimed, gripping both of their hands. "Oh.. OH! And, I guess I changed it too. ... Whoa, neat!"
"You what now, you say?" Dan was amazed, but not disbelieving. "Huh, I wonder if that fortune teller's suspiciously magical light flash had anything to do with it..."
"What? You saw the future? I mean, are you sure? Maybe it was just a... A.. Well, I mean, who knows, but, seeing the future? What makes you so sure that's what it was?" Pip continued with a healthy dose of scepticism.
"Huh, well I mean I guess... Let me try again!" Bon closed her eyes tightly and focused. 'come on, future vision, future vision, futurrrre viiisioooon!'
Bon blinked her eyes open and looked around. It was a little hazy. This was good!"See anything?" Pip asked with curiosity. A person walking past bumped into him and almost knocked him over, small thing that he was. They apologised and walked off.
Out of reflex Bon had put her arms out to try and catch him and/or help him up, but he looked confused, her vision didn't have a dreamy tint anymore, and she was a fast learner. She knew what had, or rather what was going to happen!
"Huh? Did you see anything?" Pip asked.
"Yes!!SomeOne'sGoingToBumpInToY--" Bon blurted out as quickly as she could, but as she was talking, someone nearly walked right into them.
"Oh, sorry dears! I almost didn't see you!" They said, patted the children's heads apologetically, and continued walking."Wait, were you going to say that someone was gonna bump into me?" Pip asked, a bit amazed, "But, you could have seen them and guessed that, too.." he still wasn't completely convinced.
But Bon ignored his scepticism for the moment "Huh... it seems like every time I see something, I interact with it, and it changes a little bit..." Bon was filling with excitement and wonder as she learned about what she was sure were new magic powers! Hehe, it was just like her favorite stories!

Every time I rewrite this story, it turns out a little bit different!
The original story and characters came from a dream I had a while ago. (And, as my dreams usually are, the story was an inconsistent mess. I've tried to revise it to generally follow the rules of reality and story telling, but I don't have a lot of experience with story writing, either. I hope it turns out good, Hah!)Thank you to anyone who is reading this, I hope you enjoy this story. I've been enjoying writing it!
