Bonnie stood giggling gleefully. Pip wasn't sure about any of this, but to be honest, if she did get some psychic power he was kind of jealous...
Inconspicuously, he closed his eyes and tried to focus on the 'future'. After all, he couldn't fully believe something unless he had some sort of proof! This was just a test. A perfectly reasonable test...
Blinking his eyes open and glancing at Bon and Dan to make sure they weren't staring at him, they weren't, he looked around and wondered what 'the future' would look like. But nothing seemed different. Of course, that's what he was expecting. Why would it be different?

He thought back to the recent burst of light, it had been a bit strange. He'd never seen anything that bright aside from the sun itself. He gazed into the sky as he thought about the strange fortune teller lady, she hadn't been very nice... To his surprise his imagination and memory of her was very detailed and vivid. He saw her pacing around in the small room, the glimmering crystal ball on her table, the tea cups they had left on the table were now cold. She mumbled to herself and then walked out the door of her small home and walked with purpose through the crowd. Towards... them?
It was only now that Pip realized how his mind had drifted and snapped back to himself. That was a rather strange thought, since it certainly wasn't his memory.

"Excuse me," the unmistakable purple, decorated dress and long hair of the fortune teller appeared through the crowd, moving towards the three of them. She stoped and stood right in front of the children.

Pip blinked and stared for a moment. Maybe it was just a strange coincidence. That she appeared, right after he had imagined her walking toward them. Maybe...

"Excuse me, but I need to test something." The lady bent over to be face-to-face with Bon and stared directly into her eyes. They shined. With excitement? She sure was a bright child...?
"Child..." the lady sighed, almost as if she was unsure if she wanted to speak, "this may sound strange but please answer honestly. Have you... seen anything, 'strange' or unexplainable since you left my—" she wasn't even able to finish before Bon answered.

"You mean like seeing the future?! You know about it!! You were expecting it? Oh! Did you choose me as your magical decileple (she means disciple) and share your powers with me?! Are you going to take me to a magical other world and train me in the art of magic??? Do I get to have a unicorn?!" Bon's excitement visibly grew to the point she looked like she might burst.

The woman was so taken aback by this girl's sudden enthusiastic outburst that she just knelt there for a few seconds, eyes wide and stared at Bon. "Umm..." she regained her composure and looked away. It had not been her intention to give anyone powers. She hadn't even know it was possible until now... But here this girl was, so exited... She decided not to tell her that it had all been an accident that she had tried to avoid, at least not yet. She didn't know what to say.
"No, now, don't get too exited child.. Explain what you saw to me. Please."

Bon nodded quickly "first it was hazy after we saw that big flash, and I saw a boy rob a shop but then I ran to catch him and he hadn't robbed the shop so people gave me weird looks but then I thought 'oh my gosh maybe I saw the future and changed it!' So I tried again and I saw someone bump into Pip, he's my brother we came on this trip together even though we don't see each other much, but I saw someone bump into him, you know, in my future vision, so I told him but then the person who was supposed to bump into him heard me and didn't bump into him so I changed the future again! But I know I saw what was going to happen, because it was kind of light around the edges when I saw it!"
She was kind of hard to listen to... But everyone (mostly) understood what she was saying.

"I see..." the lady pondered.

Dan had been watching and seemed to want to say something but was unsure whether to interrupt the girls' conversation.
