Drama really just seems to follow the illustrious Christian Mathewson where ever he goes ~New York Times
Sasha's POV~
"Well you really had that one in the bag didn't you?" Christian leans back in his chair looking at me with an amused smile at my response.
"Yeah apparently I do"
"This is how I show my loyalty to you, put someone else out of a job"
"Is she really that good at her job? Surely you could find some other straight guy or older married woman that's good at their job and in no way eager to check out your junk. It solves all of our problems."
"And Claudia?"
"Who cares? Write her a recommendation or send her over to one of your friends but if you want my trust for Christ's sakes Christian don't keep her."
"Seriously?"
"Yes seriously, I've met your past conquests, I'm not dealing with her too, send her over to Nox or something he seems like the kind of guy that can handle anything"
"What would you know about Nox?" Christian's face grows serious.
"We've spoken" I shrug my shoulders casually quietly happy that he's a tinsy bit jealous.
I can't honestly decide whether you are being unreasonable or not"
"I'd say for your sake not. What would you do if you walked into my office and found me and Nox in the same position" I raise my eyebrow in question waiting for his reaction.
"Wring his neck" An ugly sneer graces his mouth.
"Exactly, would you make me fire him if he was my assistant" I look at him expectantly.
"I'd fire him myself" He grinds his teeth together at the thought an angry look on his face.
"Wow! You finally get it!" I clap my hands mockingly.
"Fine it's done, if it makes you happy as long as you are aware she will strap me with a law suit the size of China for wrongful termination"
His words make me pause, I hadn't thought about that. "Ie. send her to Nox" There, problem solved.
"Alright then, are you ready for chocolate cake" oh he knows me so well but glad we have come to an agreement I decide to play with him a little bit.
"Yes but not this kind of dessert"
"What?"
"Well, Florence is with my mother so we have the night to ourselves..." I trail off. Not wasting a second, Christian has already thrown his hand up asking for the check making me chuckle at his eagerness.
"You don't know how long I've waited for you to say that"
"So sure I was going to forgive you?"
