Vanished twin

The band and Harv managed to make it to the hospital after the traffic that they were stuck in, caused by the ambulances.

R: Hello, we're here for Jack Duff.

Receptionist: Hello. Yes Mr Duff got in about 30 minutes ago. He's in room B11.

A: Thank you very much ma'am.

H:Lets go , I think B11 is on the second floor. The elevator is right there.

M:Yeah It is upstairs.

After taking the elevator and finding the room that Jack and Brook were in ,Rye opened up the door quietly. Brook has fallen asleep in tears. The doctor was still running tests .

R: Excuse me Doctor, Can we come in?

Doc: Only three at a time.

R: okay thank you.

A: Me and Rye will go in and talk to Brook and the doc and we'll come and update you guys right after.

R: Meanwhile go get some coffee or something.

H:Okay yeah , see ya in a min.

Rye and Andy go in and woke Brook up.

B: uh, guys?

R: brook whats going on with Jack?

B: The doc said he might have a ' very rare condition' that he has never come across of, but didn't confirm yet.

A: Doctor?

Doctor: Yes I'm getting the results to the test now and then we can see what we can do for Mr Duff.

R:Thank you.

B: Guys I can't lose him, I told him I love him, even though he might have not heard me but I do.

A: Everything will be okay, you'll be able to tell him that when he's actually awake too.

R: Yeah Brook don't cry no more. He will be fine.

The doctor left the room, but shortly after came back with a nurse and some papers.

Brook Stands up and rushes to the them.

B: Doc whats going on, please tell me that even of whatever he got he will be fine.

D: Guys lets go sit down in my office.

They go out the room, walking to a room close by. Harv and Mikey followed.

They all sit down and the doc placed the papers on the table.

Doctor: Okay guys , I can confirm that he does have the condition.

B: What is it?

Doc: He has a condition commonly known as ' Vanishing Twin Syndrome'.

A: What does that mean?

Doc: Means that when he was a fetus he had a twin. But he ' absorbed ' his twin.

B: How is that even possible?

Doc: Well his mother would've had a miscarriage of one fetus , and the tissues of that fetus was absorbed by the other, so Mr Duff.

B: Does that affect his health in any way?

Doc: It looks that up 'till now it didn't , but now it started to. But we will perform a surgery on him later this evening and remove the tissue, and then it's up to Mr Duff to recover from the surgery and the accident.

B: Okay thank you.

A: Is there any side effects of this surgery?

Doc: Well he will have to maintain a very healthy diet for the next few weeks and to not work too hard. If he doesn't he might collapse and then we'd have to keep him in the hospital longer than now.

B: When can he leave now?

Doc: Well most likely in a week.

M: Okay thank you very much doctor.

Doc: We will get ready and do the surgery on him in about 2 hours.

14 hours later, jack still hasn't woken up. Brook was next to him ever since the surgery. The rest of the band went back to the hotel to get some sleep.

Brooks POV

Jack please wake up soon. I need to hear your voice after such long hours. I need to tell you that I love you. I need to know if you still do. Who even knows if you'll love me when all this is over?

Oh god what if he'll hate me and not talk to me? Well I guess I deserve that after him being here because of me.

If it wouldn't have been because of me, he would've never left the room, and gotten in that accident.

What am I even thinking? That he'll love or even just be friends with me after this..

I don't even deserve him.

I'm a monster.

?: B..Brook?

Brook opens his eyes , to find Jack woken up and looking directly into his eyes.

B: Oh my god. Jack you're finally awake.

J: Whats going on ? Where am I ?

B: You were in an accident after leaving because of me , and now you're in a hospital.I'm So so sorry.

J: Brook stop. Don't blame yourself.

B: But I should've realised what you really meant in the hotel room, about you and me.

J: It's okay. It doesn't matter because I know you don't feel the same way. And that's completely okay why would you when you can have literally anyone.

B: But Jack.. I only went out with that guy because I thought that you didn't like me that way. And now that I know you do all I want is for us to be together, but you must hate me after me putting you in a hospital.

J: But I don't... I don't think i've ever liked you more than right now.

B: But how?

J: I know it must sound crazy. But you're here and that's all I want.

B:You've got me Jack.... You've got me.

I kind of think this chapter is a little bit boring and very detailed.

But hey, at least Jack is okay.
