Chapter 26: Search X For X Teacher

Gon and Killua were just on the way to Wing as they saw Hidan once again. Killua wasn't happy at all to see the immortal once again. When he went to them, he asked them without further unnecessary formalities, if they had a person who teaches them Nen.

"Why do you want to know that?"

Gon asked in his natural friendly tone of voice.
To Killua it seemed like Hidan was already pretty good in Nen, he must know Nen with the powers he showed up to now. He even had this... Immortality, which is probably a Nen ability, but he couldn't be sure. How come that he wants to ask THEIR teacher something, what he had seen in Hidan's fights till now was that the immortal was reckless and would jump into a fight without thinking twice, but at the same time he had the powers to back his actions up. When he knew that he couldn't win against Hisoka back in the finals he gave up, which was the most reasonable decision. Why fight against someone you can't beat. Then there is also his immortality, or Nen ability, maybe it is just extremely fast healing or just short time immortality. So that he can't die for a short amount of time. But at the moment thinking about his powers had no use?

"When you let me meet your teacher I will owe both of you a favor, it can be anything I am able to accomplish."

He said. He did not give them an answer, instead he offered a deal. The deal didn't sound so bad.

"You could kill us before we are able to ask a favor of you."

Killua said warily taking a step back and forcing Gon to do the same. Hidan looked a little shocked at what the little boy in front of him just said. If he was a ninja or even an adult he would understand, but in front of him stood a kid barely 12! That a kid like that would assume that. But the boy had a smell of blood around him, not as strong as his own at that age but still there. Hidan sighed, before he dissappear and reappeared behind Gon with a metal pole pointed at the boys throat. He turned the boy in front of him so that both he and his hostage can look the more suspicious boy in the eyes.

"If I wanted to kill you brats I could have down it a long time ago... I could have tortured you so long till you spit out who and where your teacher is. I am well aware how much a body needs to break and to die, I had enough time to do my tests. So do not underestimate me.

I just wanted to ask your master something about Nen types. I know Nen only since a short time and thought I could get a little help. But no fuck it little brat here has to be over paranoid and be a pain in the ass.... "

He whispered the last part into Gons ear, but Killua could still hear it.

After that he let go of Gon and hid the metal pole somewhere in his jacket. Killua's thoughts raced. Hidan did just say that he does not know Nen since a long time. So how come that he already had the immortality back in the Hunter exam? How long is 'not so long'? Can it be that his immortality is some other kind of ability.

"The deal still stands, if you refuse... so be it. It doesn't matter."

He snapped Killua out of his little trance. The deal still stands...
And maybe they get him to ta-

"Okay you can come."

Gon said with a smile, he smiled at the man how just threatened to kill him. Killua looked at him with almost the same amount of shock as Hidan. He personally did not think that this would have any use at all and they would say no, or at least think about it for one or two days and ask their teacher. That the boy just said yes shocked him.

"We would have to ask our teacher if it is okay for him. Would you be so nice and come back here tomorrow?"

Hidan looked at the kid, still not really knowing what to say, so he just nodded and left. He will definitely come back there tomorrow, even if it was only to evade seeing Hisoka.

With Killua and Gon:

Killua was yelling at Gon, how could he even think about having contact with a person who #1 could easily kill them #2 is definitely not right in his mind #3 who just threaded to kill both of them

"He doesn't really seem like a evil person. It's more like he built up this evil shell around him to protect himself."

Gon said, his voice a little sad. Killua not really getting what he said hit the a little smaller boy on the head with full force. The young black haired boy winced.
" AND THAT'S YOUR REASON?! "

"Come on we have to ask Wing about it."

He said with a little grunt as he left the other boy standing there.
