Chapter 23: To X Fight X With X Nen

The next day came and Hidan got the date of his second fight.

His fight will be on March 1st. He still had 14 days till then, that was not to much nor to little. Hidan trained his Nen every day trying to maintain it and use it to enhance his abilitys. At the end he was a third faster than when he started. He found out that he can see Nen when he concentrates his Nen in his eyes. That somehow reminded him of the byakugan. Hidan also found out that he can punch more powerful when he concentrates his Nen in his fist, but he still did not know what Nen type he had or how to find out his Nen type. He knew the Nen type would be a critical point when it came to creating your own Nen ability, like it is important to know your own Chakra type to make a suitable Jutsu for yourself.

He still had 4 days till the fight and he hasn't seen Hisoka since the... back then. Everytime he could sense Hisoka he went(read as ran) away as fast as humanly possible without being too obvious.

He only went out of his room to get food and at the moment he was doing so. On the way he saw two familiar faces.

"Oi! Shitty Brat, Stupid Brat!"

He called out as he went to a pair of kids. The kids looked in his direction remembering the voice. As Killua saw him his expression turned grim. Was it fear? Hate? Plain dislike? Hidan didn't knew, but for him it also did not matter. Why should he care, he never cared. Why should he now start?

"Oh you are the guy from the Hunter exam, who got his head cut off!"

Gon exclaimed as he saw Hidan. Hidan twitched at what Gon said, he remembered him as 'the guy who got his head cut of' that sounds so stupid... Killua looked at Gon a little angry, while whispering 'Do you want to make him angry?' Unlike Gon, Killua knew that it may be that they could take him down together, but he is something like immortal, so even if they beat him, he would regenerate and that guy probably has more stamina then them. After what he saw in the fight with Hisoka in the Hunter exam it was clear, this guy is strong. Stronger than himself.

"Why are you Brats here?"

"We are here to train and you?"

"Same. On what floor are you on? I am on floor 200th."

"We are both at floor 190th."

"Ahh, good to know."

Hidan said before he left Killua and Gon. 'He did not curse like last time I saw him...' Killua thought.

"Ahhh that was a surprise. Didn't think I would meet someone from the Hunter exam here."

Gon said a smile on his face.

"and it had to be him out of all people(okay he is still better than Hisoka or my brother, he added in thought)... And it seems like we will probably have to fight him when we get into the 200th."

"Oi, oi Killua back there stood something about him fighting on 1st March."

Killua hit Gon on the head.

"And why didn't you tell me that earlier!?"

"But I only remembered it now!"

Gon screamed while sticking out his tongue.

With that both of them went and bought a ticket for the fight. It's always good to know your foes abilities.

Back to Hidan.

The last four days went by rather quickly. Only once he felt Hisoka's aura near him. He was in the corridor where Hidan's room was located and sent out Ren. He did not like that, not at all. It was like Hisoka telling him, 'I am stronger, you know you can't run away.'

For the moment Hidan ignored it and just went into the arena with Riehlvelt.

"Oi wheelchair-guy! You sure you can fight me with that thing? Haha!"

"Haha, aren't you the one who lost against my friend?"

With that the referee started the fight.

Hidan rushed at Riehlvelt his fist ready.

"Don't people say, the person who gets the first hit in..."

Hidan's already abnormal speed improved even further after the four days. He reinforced both his legs and his fist with Nen.

His fist hit Riehlvelt square in the face, without him even being remotely able to react.

"...WINS!"

Hidan screamed as Riehlvelt was thrown back by the force of the punch. Blood dripped down from Riehlvelt's face.

"Clean hit, one point!"

Riehlvelt went back into the arena.

"It seems like you are still alive, that's good, because now I can do this!"

Hidan licked Riehlvelt's blood that sticked to his fist.

"Thanks for the meal! Hahahaha!!!"

(Now that I look at it properly I think it is bad. I imagined it cool and now look at THIS! Argh I give up)

Afterwards he drew a circle with a triangle inside with his own blood. His body turned black with a white bone like pattern.

Riehlvelt just stood there, not knowing what's going on. Hidan did not emit any Nen, but there were still effects like he just started useing a Nen ability.

Hidan took out a steel pole and pointed it at Riehlvelt.

"Now! Let's savour the utmost of suffering together! Hahaha!"

Hidan's next action shocked everyone there, expect the few people who already knew about his ability. He pierced his own shoulder with the pole. Blood started to pour out of the wound, but at the same time Riehlvelt screamed and his clothes turned red.

"Hey wheelchair, you know it's such a waste to attack the vitals.

I know exactly how much a human body can take before it dies. Do you wanna try to attack me or should I do it?"

Riehlvelt got angry and took out his two electric whips, but the moment it had contact with Hidan, Hidan just laughed as Riehlvelt screamed a second time. Hidan stopped reacting to pain a long time ago, it just makes him laugh.

"Mmhh where should I go next... The foot, but you already can't use them. Does that mean you also can't feel them? Ah whatever, but what about your right arm? That would be good, but what if you are lefthanded? Let's just take both."

With a pole in each hand he pierced both his arms at the same time. Riehlvelt screamed once again, but past out not bearing the pain.

"Already out? And I thought I could have a little bit more fun with him. Oi referee can I leave now!?"

Hidan asked the referee who was still in shock from what just happened in front of him.

"ah! Yeah! Riehlvelt was K.O.ed Hidan wins!"

The referee called out and right after cheers were heard in the whole hall.

With that Hidan had his first win on floor 200.
