A/N: Hey. So in this one I mention Avi having an older brother. I actually have no idea if he has a brother, i just know he's the youngest of three so i picked one. If anyone knows for sure, let me know in the comments. Also, there will be a new kind of smut warning in my writing, for the benefit of my friend. If, in the author's note i say No Sammy, it means there will be some PG-13 content so reader desgression is advised. Tis is not one of those chapters, i just wanted to let you know
So, one of my friends is just starting out on Wattpad and I would love it if you would go check her work out. Her name is sammyjo1104. If you would, it would mean a lot to both of us. Her story isn't a PTX fic, sorry. It's a werewolf story, so if you like that stuff go check it out.
As always, comments and votes are apriciated. Love y'all.

Soon it was December and the pressure was on. I had to finish working out the details of my second choir concert of the year. I had to figure out gifts for my family, my friends, Avi. By December 12th, I had the concert sorted out but none of my presents done.
I have a tradition of giving at least one drawing every year for Christmas. I sit at my desk, scrolling through the 1027 pictures taken on my camera since that concert back in August.
I find one of the eight of us outside a concert that was taken by a stranger. I copy it to be printed later. More scrolling through pictures. Some were just us messing around. Some were crap shots that I have no idea where they were taken, or when. There were a few great ones that I most certainly did not take.
For example, the photo of Scott and Livvie a few weeks ago. She had her arms slung easily around his neck, staring up into the blue eyes that were staring right back. The picture was incredibly well shot and I added it to the ‘to be printed’ file.
By the time I had gone through all of my photos, I still hadn’t found the one I wanted to draw for Avi. A thousand and twenty seven pictures and none of them were right.
I flop down on my bed to stress out a bit more comfortably. Mel and Livvie come in about ten minutes later. They sit on my bed like we’re bad in middle school. Back when our hardest decisions were what to wear to school the next day. Back before we started going out to hang out. Before things got difficult.
“What’s wrong, Arya?” Mel asks, concern coloring her voice.
“I was thinking about middle school. It as so easy back then.” I admit.
“That was before Dad was diagnosed, wasn’t it? Before he lost it and got mean?” Livvie asks. I nod. It was also before he started shutting down, which started when we were in eleventh grade. He died in the middle of our senior year. Carissa had only been eleven when he died.
“I miss those days. That was the summer he taught us how to do a flip off the rope swing at the lake.” Mel murmurs.
“I miss it too. He used to be so happy and sweet. Then things went bad.”
“I hate myself for what I first thought when he finally gave out.” I admit. “My first thought was ‘I don’t have to deal with his bullshit anymore.’ It took another month to start missing him. The man that I really missed had been gone for so long, it was hard to miss him then.”
