Y/n POV
I sighed as I scratched another line into the rock I was chained to. My sister Sirena just rolled her eyes as she lay on her rock.

"How many days has it been?" Sirena asked boredly. I just sat down and rested my head on my hand.

"How many days are in a decade?" I asked plainly as she shrugged and sighed. I looked up and saw the small glisten of the sun on the surface. "Is it bad I've forgotten what the surface looks like?" I asked and Sirena looked at me in disbelief.

"How can you forget what the surface looks like?!" She exclaimed and I shrugged.

"I haven't seen it since I was 8 Sirena, you were only 10." I stated and she sighed in defeat.

"Ok fair point, I forgot what it looks like too..." She mumbled. I got up from my rock and swam to her but my wrists restrained me.

"C'mon Rena. We have to fight these shackles. It's been 10 very long years and I'm sure they would've rusted by now, we just need to pull on then till they snap." I encouraged but she wasn't having it.

"N/n really? You believe they'll break?" She asked as she lay on her side. I just rolled my eyes and pulled on the chains as hard as I could.

"I'm so gonna prove you wrong Rena." I retaliated, pulling the chains harder until I heard the sound of metal slowly breaking until they snapped in half and my wrists flew up.
"HA! Told you Rena! I'm free!" I exclaimed, smiling and doing backflips in the water. My sister looked at me in shock as I swam to the surface.

"Hey! Wait!" She cried as she tried to swim to me.

"Just pull the chains as hard as you can. I'll meet you up there!" I said as I swam up to the glistening spot of the sun on the surface until I jumped out and landed on a rock, sitting on it (picture at top). I sighed happily as the summer breeze blew through my jet black locks and the shining sun beaming on my face through the trees. I then heard a splash from next to me and a figure land on the rock beside me then lay down.

"I missed this... the sun beating down on my pale body." Sirena sighed as she lay there. I smiled and combed my fingers through my hair.

"Same." I agreed. Sirena looked at me and sat up.

"Remember the song we used to sing to lure guys to us?" She asked with a wicked grin on her face. I smiled back.

"Obviously. How could I forgot?" I replied and smiled back.

BEN POV
Jeff and I were forced to look after Sally while Slender went on business with his brothers. So Jeff decided to walk by the lake with her to tire her out, but I was reluctant.

"C'mon BEN, it's not that bad." Jeff stated while giving Sally a piggy back ride while I floated beside them.

"I Drowned Jeff, DROWNED, in that VERY LAKE!" I exclaimed and crossed my arms but Jeff just rolled his lidless eyes.

"Benny, just because you drowned doesn't mean you will drown again." Sally piped up, almost reassuringly. I sighed in defeat.

"Fine, but I ain't going anywhere near the water. I'm gonna stay by this opening and just watch you." I replied and sat down on the grass while Jeff put Sally down and she sped off to the waters edge while Jeff stood against a tree.

"You really hate water don't you?" Jeff asked and I nodded. "Why? It's refreshing." He asked/stated. Sally came back looking happy.

"The water is capable of many things Jeff. Like drowning me, and that's about it." I replied, staring at the ground until Sally pulled me out of my trance.

"What about all the fishies and girls with fishtails?" She asked and Jeff and I gave her a weird look.

"What do you mean girls with fishtails?" Jeff asked and Sally pointed at the lake.

"There is 2 girls with fishtails for legs sitting on the rocks." She stated and led Jeff and I to the waters edge and she was right. A jet black haired girl with slightly tanned skin and a shiny black tail with a snow white haired girl with the palest skin and greyish tail dangling in the water.

"Well damn." Jeff stated and I nodded, eyeing up the black haired one until I heard the most softest voice ever but... Sally covered her ears.

"Oww! What's screeching?!" She screamed then fell onto her knees in pain and we gave her a weird look.

"What do you mean? Those girls are singing." I stated but Jeff grabbed my arm.

"We gotta get back to Slender. NOW!" He exclaimed and picked Sally up, walking away. I followed, confused.

"What's going on?" I asked and Jeff gave me the most serious look he could ever give anyone.

"I've read about those things. They're sirens. Mermaid lookalikes but with a dark side. They sing guys to their death at the bottom of the ocean. But their voices sound like screeching to girls so they don't go near them or their prey. But it only happens when they fall in love. They'll sing to lure guys as humans and get to know them until the guy falls in love with them. They'll then ask if they can keep a secret then sing to the guy again, making him follow her into the water as she turns into her true self. Then they'll ask if they want to rule the ocean with her then kill them off." He stated, walking quicker. I followed, thinking about what he said.

"Wait, you read about them?" I asked and Jeff shot me a glare.

"Don't judge me Link." He snarled, making me shut up and just follow him back to the mansion to wait for Slender.
