Trial

I set beside Mikasa and Armin at the table in the eating hall and waited for word on Eren.

"Rosie can we talk?" Bertolt asked softly as he walked up to me.

I shook my head and followed him to a secure place.

"About-"

"Don't. He is dead and you can't bring him back or say anything to fix it." I said calmly.

"Rosie..."

"Levi Ackerman....... I've heard a lot about him, but never saw him until three days ago." I said softly.

"What about him?" He asked confused.

"He's my father." I said leaning against the wall.

He looked at me shocked and I let out a sigh.

"I thought he was dead..... but the moment I saw him... I knew.... I knew who he was." I said softly.

"What are you going to do?" He asked softly.

"I don't know." I said softly.

"Cadets Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, and Rosie Hoover!" A man yelled.

I turned and walked to Mikasa and listened to him tell us we were going to the trial. I waited beside them as we listened to them. I watched as they brought Eren in and I gritted my teeth as they got rough with him.

"I'm going to end them if they hurt him again." I whispered.

"You and me both." Mikasa said calmly.

I listened and waited until i was asked a question.

"Cadet Rosie Hoover! You trained beside Eren Jaeger. What is your thoughts on the matter?" Dhalis Zachary asked calmly.

"Eren Jaeger is a stubborn, aggressive, and annoying guy, but when it comes to his team he is the greatest man here! He would give his life to protect everyone in this room!" I snapped angrily.

Dhalis Zachary looked at me shocked and I felt Armin grab my hand.

"Calm down Rosie." He whispered.

I listened as they started to think me and Mikasa where titans and I watched as Eren started yelling. I saw them take aim and got ready to protect him, but saw Levi kick him. I froze as I listened to Levi for awhile before they passed judgement. I let out a breath of relief as they put him under the Scout Regiment.

"He will be fine Mikasa." I said patting her shoulder.

"Rosie Hoover. Commander Erwin Smith would like to see you." A man said walking up to me.

"About what?" I asked confused.

"Didn't say." He said as he led me to the Commander.

I made it to a door and he knocked on the door and I was told to come in. I walked in and saw Eren sitting on a couch with Hange in front of him and Levi beside him.

"Rosie Hoover, please come in." Erwin said with a smile.

"Rosie?" Eren asked shocked.

"Damn I thought I'd never have to see your ugly face again." I said with a pout.

"Why am I friends with you again?" Eren asked annoyed.

"Could be because, besides Armin and Mikasa I'm the only other person who can deal with your annoying ass." I said with a laugh.

"So your the woman who saved Commander Erwin." Miche asked calmly.

"Wait she saved the Commander? Her?" Eren asked shocked.

"I got bored." I said shrugging my shoulders.

"Rosie Hoover second in her class. Killed eight titans in one day by herself and two with help." Erwin said with a smile.

"Wow! That's more than half the people on Levi's squad have killed in a week!" Hange exclaimed shocked.

I saw that Levi was looking at me intensely and I let out a groan.

"Do you have a problem?" I asked annoyed.

Hange looked at me shocked and Levi sent me a glare.

"You have a backbone. You will be an excellent member to my squad." Erwin said with a smile.

"Your squad?" I asked shocked.

"I am making a squad of the most skilled people in my regiment. If you join the Scout Regiment you will be on that squad." He said with a smile.

On his squad.... my chance to get revenge on him. My chance to know more about my father and what happen to my family..... my chance to keep watch on Eren.

"Well good thing I was planning to join the Scout Regiment." I said with a smile.

He smiled at me and stood up and held his hand out to me. I took it and shook it before pulling my hand away.

"Also I would like to personally thank you for saving my life. I am in your debt." He said calmly.

"It was nothing sir. I was only doing my job." I said with a small smile.

"Hey Rosie how is everyone?" Eren asked suddenly.

"They are fine. Jean is still a horseface, Reiner still flirting with Historia and Ymir is keeping him away from her. Bertolt is overprotective, Connie and Sasha still suck at jokes. Annie is still a loner and Armin is trying to keep Mikasa from killing Captain Levi for knocking some sense into you." I said softly.

"What about Marco?" He asked calmly.

I froze and felt my mind go back to what happen.

"What are you doing?" I asked angrily.

"He knows what we are. He has to go." Reiner said calmly holding him down.

I watched Annie take Marco's gear and I reached to stop her, but Bertolt stopped me.

"Bertolt! Let me go! You can't do this! He will die! Reiner please! Please!" I begged.

I was dragged away by Bertolt and I hid my face as I saw a titan grab Marco.

I let out a sigh as I looked at Eren.

"We still haven't found him yet..... he is among the missing in action." I said softly.

I saw Eren look away and I shook my head.

"I'm sorry Rosie.... I know you two were friends." Eren said softly.

"It's nothing. I'm this line of work you can't get close to anyone..... you can't grow attachments to anyone." I said softly.
