I rode beside Eren to the wall and smiled as I stood beside him on the wall. We looked out and my smile disappeared as I saw Zeke and Reiner. There was titans with them and I held my breath as the fight started. I cut down three titans and then stopped and let out a sigh as I saw Bertolt in front of me.

"So your on their side." He said softly.

"Bertolt they will forgive you. You can come back.... we don't have to fight each other." I said softly.

"But we do.... you chose them over me. I thought of you as my sister."

"And I saw you as my brother."

"I gave you my last name to use so you could get revenge on Erwin and your working with him!"

"I'm not just working with him.... I took his last name." I said as Bertolt yelled and attacked me.

I dodged and a fight started, but it soon ended with Eren cutting his legs off and throwing him on a roof. I landed beside him and felt my heart stop as I saw Armin. I saw a titan and quickly left to help the recruits.

"Rosie! Commander Smith has been injured!" A cadet yelled running towards me.

I stood up and followed him to the roof top with Armin and the others. I gasped as I saw Erwin on the roof bleeding.

"Erwin!" I yelled as I rushed to his side.

I saw him open his eyes and smile at me softly.

"Your going to be okay." I whispered.

"Don't lie." He whispered.

"Levi you can't use it on him! Not when Erwin Armin needs it!" Mikasa exclaimed.

I looked up and felt tears stream down my face.

"Levi..... use it on Armin." I said softly.

"He will die." Levi said softly.

"Like he wants.... to die with his men." I said softly.

He nodded his head and I looked down at Erwin as Levi gave it to Armin. Armin soon turned and I felt tears stream down my face as Bertolt begged me to help him.

"Reiner! Annie! Rosie please!" Bertolt yelled.

I cried as I looked away and held Erwin's hand.

"I love you." Erwin said softly.

"I... I lied to you. When you asked whose side I was on.... I said humanities, but really.... it's your side.... it will always be your side." I whispered as I leaned down and pecked his lips.

I pulled away and cried as I laid my head on his chest.

"I love you." I whispered.

I felt him take his last breath and felt my heart stop with his. I moved away from him and walked away from everyone with tears streaming down my face. After I had calmed down I set beside Armin and waited for him to wake up. I smiled softly as he open his eyes and looked over at me.

"Hey." I whispered softly.

"Rosie?" He asked confused.

"Armin!" Eren exclaimed as he hugged him.

I listened as Eren explained it to him and then Levi came up to us.

"Erwin gave his life for me?" Armin asked shocked.

"Yes." Levi said calmly.

"Rosie.... I'm so sorry." Armin said gently touching my hand.

"He made me promise.... if.... if he got hurt and wasn't going to make it to.... to not let Levi use the Titan serum on him." I whispered.

"Why didn't he tell any of us?" Levi asked confused.

"Because she was his wife." Armin said softly.

Eren and Levi looked at me shocked as I looked down at my hands. I felt them start to shake and then a pair of hands grabbed mine. I looked up to see Hange looking at me sadly.

"I.... I wanted to give him that serum so badly.... that bastard..... why... why did he make me promise.... why couldn't he have made one of you.... why me?" I asked as tears streamed down my face.

"Because we would have broke the promise..... you would keep it no matter what." She whispered as she hugged me.

After awhile we made it back to base and I let out a sigh as I made it to Erwin's office and started to pack everything up. I smiled as I saw a drawing of him and I put it in a book. I heard the door open and turned to see Hange walk in.

"Hi.... I'm just cleaning his stuff out." I said softly.

"Let me help." She said softly.

We started to pack his stuff and I stopped as I saw a folder with my name on it, I picked it up and open it.

Rosie Smith

Rosie has shown great leadership and skill in the past year I have watched her. She is one of the strongest in her classes and the kindest. Does everything to make her friends happy. Since the day we met I have noticed that she has a strong dislike for me. Most likely because she blames me for her aunt and uncle's death.

Rosie is a very loving woman when she doesn't hate me. She won't allow others to blame themselves as shown when I tried taking the blame for our child's death. She is also..... the love of my life. I hope that when I die she will be able to move on. I pray she will move on from me.

I felt tears stream down my face as I closed my eyes and laid the file down. I moved one of the papers to see a picture of me and him. I smiled as it had writing o the back.

"To my beautiful wife. I love you. Erwin Smith." I whispered.

"He really loved you..... he said it almost every time we where near him." Hange said softly.

"I loved him too and I never told him.... I should of told him every day." I whispered as I held onto the picture.

She put her box down and hugged me as I sobbed into her shirt.

"Why did I let him go? I shouldn't of let him leave!" I exclaimed as tears streamed down my face.
