I stared at my phone trying to figure out what to say next. How did he get my number? My blood began to boil and I finally found the courage to reply.
"How did you get my number?"
"Facebook?"
Ugh! I should really deactivate my Facebook page!
"You shouldn't be texting me. If my boyfriend finds out he'll kill the both of us."
"Who says ya boyfriend has to find out?😎"
Was this guy even serious?
"Bye Sedric."
I guess he got the hint because he didn't text back. I hurried up and deleted the message between the both us. I felt like I was cheating though I wasn't. I was debating on whether I should tell Jahseh or not. But then he'll figure something was going on because he did ask me if I knew him and I told him no. I hate lying to him but it's better than lying than to have a huge fight between the two of them, right?
I walked in the house forgetting everything that just happened. My eyes went buck when I saw Jahseh sitting on the couch.
"What'chu doing here?" I asked first.
He sat his glass of tea down looking confused, "Damn, I can't get a hey?"
I sighed. I was showing my guilt already, "Sorry. I was just caught off guard." I sat down beside him, "But why are you home so early? It's only 2pm in the noon."
"There's a leak going on at my job. They said its not safe to work around that kind of stuff so we aren't going to be working for days, weeks, or probably months. My boss will let us know when to return though."
"Really? What caused the leak?"
"Some type of chemicals wasted and got mixed with some other liquid. I'm not a scientist so I don't know how the fuck that shit formed. All I know is that I'm glad to be home so I can spend more time you and Miracle than I usually get to do."
"Where is she?" I kicked my shoes off.
"Redd got her for a couple of days. He came through here early and she had a fit when he was about to leave so he's keeping her for a few days. Is that okay?"
I leaned back on him and laid my head on his shoulder, "Of course. He's the godfather for a reason."
He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my temple, "Good. Now that I'm going to be off for a while and Miracle's with Redd", he said inbetween putting kisses on my face, "We can do something."
I turned my head for my lips to meet his, "Can we wait til tonight? My feet hurt." I wined.
"Yea, I guess we can. How about after you take you a little nap, we can go out to eat or something. Do something we never get to do because we're too busy being parents."
I arched my eyebrows, "You're saying that as if you don't like it."
"I love it. I'm just saying that we barely get to do anything together lately because we're running after Miracle all day."
I nodded my head in agreement, "Yea, you're right. We haven't been able to do something together as a couple in a long time. Where do you want to eat?"
"Anywhere. Name it and I'll take you there."

After a several hour nap I took, Jahseh ended up taking me to Olive Garden where I ordered chicken Parmesan and a side of shrimp pasta. Of course Jahseh ordered a steak with cheesy side of chicken pasta.
