Tyler won't hurt me, But Jake Can

Nicole POV
I woke up and Tyler was no longer next to me, I got dressed in a blue long sleeve shirt and dark blue Jeans, I grabbed my phone and cane downstairs, came through the kitchen and grabbed an apple. I saw a text message from Tyler on my phone. It said: Dear Nicole, I set up several security systems all around the house so your ex won't get in, I'm headed off to go fishing with some friends, stay at the house and take a day off. Relax, watch a movie. Do whatever you like. Remember babe, I love you. Tyler. " He is the best boyfriend ever!!" I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave and took it out I sat on the couch and watched Between on Netflix, I checked my phone and I put in my headphones and listened to some music. I got up and jumped on the couch. I took my headphones out and I was in the kitchen making a snack when I heard a knock on the front door, I whipped my head up and ran to the upstairs hall closet, I grabbed a metal baseball bat and slowly walked downstairs and to the front door I grabbed a chair and looked out the window, i got down and put the chair back, I unlocked the door ready to hit anything that was behind it. I swung it open and shut my eyes so fast I accidentally hit Tyler on the head, my eyes snapped open and I threw the bat down. " oww! Nicole, why did you hit me on the head with a metal bat! I stood there crying again, " Tyler! I'm so sorry! I thought you were Jake! Oh My God!" I pulled him in and locked the door, I sat him down on a chair in the dining room, I ran upstairs and grabbed the first aid kit and ran back down. I saw a lot of blood and tried to clean it but I suddenly got really dizzy and fell to the floor." Nicole!!" I laid on the floor when Tyler laid me on the couch, I sat up and Tyler grabbed me an ice pack. I put it on my head and smiled when he sat next to me, he smiled back and gave me a hug. " I'm sorry I hit you on the head, I really thought Jake was at the door." He looked at me very serious. " it's okay really. I'm fine." I sighed a breath of relief. " what did my beautiful girlfriend do all day?" I blushed a little and we both laughed." Just watched Netflix and listened to some music." He laughed again and so did I." Tyler? Can I ask you something?" He looked at me and smiled a little. " yeah, of course you can." I took a deep breath." You will always keep me safe right?" Tyler put down his drink and cupped my head with his hands very gently." Nicole, I will always love you and keep you safe even from danger and from your ex boyfriend." I started to cry a little bit." I love you too, and I always will Tyler , no matter what.

Nicole POV
After all the crying and my fit of rage at Jake earlier, I still felt bad about hitting Tyler with that metal bat. I thought it was my ex but I hit my boyfriend in the head and I pass out when I see lots of blood, anyway he's fine and I'm glad we are boyfriend and girlfriend, we get to hang out and do what all those cute couples do. I met Tyler when I was 13, we went to the same school and one day he said I was cute and that's how we became boyfriend and girlfriend. But there's just one problem in our way: Jake. He was my boyfriend before I met Tyler and he and I had a great relationship until one day Jake just snapped and we got in a huge fight, it didn't end well so I packed my bag and left. I told him I didn't want to be his girlfriend anymore and he got pissed off about it and moved away. I didn't know he moved back to where I moved too. Anyway he's back and now he's out for revenge on me and Tyler, but Tyler told me he would keep me safe from him and any kind of danger, I trust Tyler because he's my boyfriend and I love him and I will do anything to keep him safe too.
