My Love Life, Tyler's Hearing Sentence

I got up and got dressed, I put on a black T-shirt and a pair of dark jeans, I grabbed a jean jacket and put it in on, I unplugged my phone and walked into the bathroom. I straightened my hair and tied it in a ponytail. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs. This morning we are going to Tyler's Hearing Sentence. I walked into the kitchen and sat down. Jake made waffles for breakfast. I ate and watched tv.

" Nicole are you ready to go?"

" yeah I am. Let's go and get this over with."

I was in a bad mood this morning and Jake hates that about me. If I give him attitude, he has a strict talk with me and then he's fine. I hate having talks with him. But I love him and he loves me. I Just want what's best for us.

" Nicole. Stop. Just stop. I know you're mad and upset, but cut the attitude now. I'm not dealing with you if your going to act like this. When we come home, I having a talk with you. Understand me?"

See what I'm talking about? He always does that because he doesn't want me to be in a bad mood, I don't take medication, I don't need it. I am kinda stressed out and mad but Jake has had enough of it. I guess I can show him some respect. You know what I will, I don't care if he has a talk with me. I'll be fine. I know I will.

" Yes Jake. I understand. I'll show you respect from now on. I promise. And I'll be nice and behave too. "

" and what else will you do?"

" I will not show you any attitude today."

" And what else?"

" I won't talk back to you, and I won't talk when you talk because it's rude and I can get in trouble."

" and what else will you not do?"

" I'll be good and not be mean to anyone and no one. I will not yell at you, curse or be stupid."

" Good. Now go get in the car so we can go. And don't slam my door, I just got a Brand new car. It's a Black Chevy Surban. It's in nice condition. Go. Now. And don't act stupid."

I walk out the door, In the driveway was a Black Chevy. It was in nice condition. I get in and shut the door. I took out my phone and checked YouTube. Jake came out and I quickly hid my phone. He got in and put his seatbelt on. When he saw me, he didn't say anything, he started the car, but we didn't move. Weird.

" Give it to me Nicole. I know you hid it from me, now give it to me."

He was starting to get a little mad at me over me hiding my phone from him. He doesn't let me have it because he wants to know what I do in their. He usually takes it away so I can't have it. Sometimes when I talk back to him, he takes my phone and doesn't give it back to me. The last time I talked back, he broke my phone and
punished me for a week. Don't ask. Anyway I gave in and gave it to him. I'm really annoyed.

" Since you wanted to have a attitude and disrespect me, you will not get this back. Or do I need to break another phone again?"

" No. please don't break it. I'll behave. I promise. Just don't do it. I'll be nice."

" Good. Now that we got that out of the way, we can go. Don't act stupid, don't misbehave, don't talk back to me and do not show me attitude. Understand?"

" Yes Jake. I won't."

" Good. Let's go. Just remember what's going to happen when we get home."

I sighed to myself and looked out the window while he drove out of the driveway. We drove to court, he parked the car and we got out. We walked inside and I sat down. Jake sat next to me. The Judge called Tyler to the stand. When I saw him I glared at him, Jake saw this and excused us from the court room. He grabbed my arm and pulled me into the hall. After we talked we came back in and sat down. The Judge started talking to Tyler and asking him questions. I sat their and said nothing.

" Tyler. Who is your girlfriend?"

" Nicole. But we broke up after a fight we had."

" Did you love her?"

" Yes, sir. I did. I even cared for her."

The judge asked a Jury to come to the stand, a woman cane up and stood next to the bench. She started asking questions.

" Tyler, did you ever try to hurt Nicole in any way?"

" No mam. I didn't. I would never hurt her. I loved her."

" so you didn't try to attack her this morning at your home in California?"

" Okay Yes I tried to."

" what did you lie?"

" Because I love her and I want her to be safe."

" She is safe. With her boyfriend. Jake."

" Jake is nothing. He abuses her and threatens her. He's a liar. Not me. I'm telling the truth."

I sat there still not saying anything. I was mad that Tyler said that about Jake. He has never abused or hurts me. He wouldn't threaten me either. Jake loves me. And that's all. He's lying.

" That's all. No more questions. Please sit down."

Tyler stood up and came and sat down on the opposite side of the court, he sat down next to his lawyer and the Jury. Jake whispered in my ear not to make a sound and not to look at him. I obeyed him and listened. I still said nothing.

" Nicole, please come up to the stand."

I stood up and walked toward the stand and I sat down. A different Jury came and stood next to me. I didn't glance at Tyler. I looked at Jake and he looked back at me. I waited until they started asking me questions. I was quiet.

" Nicole, do you have a boyfriend you love so much they will protect you forever and always?"

" Yes mam, I do and his name is Jake. He's protective of me and keeps me safe."

" Do you love him? Does he love you?"

" yes he does. And I love him."

" Now Nicole, this morning what happened between the three of you?"

" Tyler found out that Jake and I were sleeping together and he got mad and tried to attack me and I ran out of the house and I turned and I drove away from their and drove back to my hometown. Jake survived when Tyler tried to attack me."

" Okay thank you. No more questions."

" As Judge of this courtroom, I sentence Tyler guilty of physical assault and sentenced to death penalty. Guards get him out of here."

I got up and ignored Tyler's screams and pleads against the two guards trying to get him out, I cane back to Jake and sat down. I didn't cry. I didn't care. He's no longer in my life and I'm glad. I'm safe now. And so is Jake. We left he courtroom and walked into the hall.

After Jake talked with the lawyer and other people, he spoke to the police and got things cleared up. He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of there and took me to the car. I'm in trouble now. He shoved me in and closed the door, he got in and he drove us home, he pulled into the driveway and parked the car. He got out and shut the door, he came to my side and opened the door. He grabbed my arm forcefully and yanked me out of the car, he shut the door and unlocked the door and he took me inside.
