" I can't believe you told him, you went behind my back and talked about me and you. I can't even look at you right now."

" I didn't say anything else, all he asked me how it was in Florida. I told him I wasn't comfortable talking about what happened with you and me."

" Well Thanks. Good. When I'm ready to talk about it, I'll let you know. Okay?"

" yeah, thanks Nicole. Where is Tyler anyway? When I woke up I didn't see him."

" He went to hang out with some friends of his. He said he needed to get some fresh air and cool if for awhile. And he said he'll be gone all day and night. He even said he won't be home for six weeks so we have the whole house to ourselves. He didn't want you to worry."

" thanks for those kind words. And I'm glad he's making sure I'm okay with you. The other day he was a bit upset about me and you, you know being together again."

" he just needs time to collect himself that's all. Guys do that and they have to just leave and then after a while come back. He'll be fine."

I sighed and stood up and stretched. I walked into the kitchen, I made a smoothie and sat down and drank it. I went upstairs and cane back down and set my laptop on the island. I sat down and scrolled through some pictures of me and Jake. He came over and sat next to me. I turned to him and we kissed on the lips. I shut my laptop and walked into the living room and I sat there. Jake can and sat next to me and I laid my head down on his lap. He took his hand and stroked my hair.

" Jake. Why does life have to be so complicated? "

" Because that's the way life is. Life is crazy, sad , happy and just, I don't know. I love my life. What about you babe?"

" yeah life's okay I guess. And it's a bit crazy. Sometimes sad. And happy of course. And do you know who is in my life?"

" I don't know. Who?"

" You. Because I love you."

" I love you too Babe."

I turned in Netflix and we watched a movie together. I fixed two bowls of popcorn and grabbed some juice from the fridge. Tyler hates soda, he said it's bad for you and he doesn't buy it. I bring a bottle of apple juice for me and Jake. I sit next to him and he puts his arm around me. I hand Jake his popcorn and grab mine. I soon fall asleep, when I wake up, Jake is no longer next to me. I sit up and turn the tv off and shut the lights off and head upstairs. I open my door and close it. I crawl in bed and fall back asleep. When I do I feel a hand around my waist and know it's Jake. I smile and fall into a deep sleep.
