Jacob decided that it was his turn to stand up and take the pain, so Jasmine didn't have to. Not yet. He knew that she wasn't strong enough, she needed to know that it was okay.

"My turn next." He took a deep breath, attempting to calm himself down. It was going to be fine. Just fine; he'd make it through stronger than ever, and have proven himself to be stronger than those stupid blood-suckers ever thought he could be!

I accept, turn me into a beast. He thought in his head, But make it as quick as you can. Without a response, the creature tugging at his heart huffed, and pushed its way out. He fell down on his knees, taking multiple deep breaths in vain attempts to push the pain out of his chest.

He could feel his head split open, and two large, curved horns push out. He attempted to speak to his voice; his bull. He'd already figured out what he was turning into, by the painful horns sprouting from his head.

"Can't talk right now, human. We must fight. Fight til this is all over! Just you wait, human of mine, we will spear them all with our horns, and fight to the death to save the world." When he spoke, his gruff, gravelly voice surprised Jacob. He wasn't expecting such a rough voice, but it made sense because he was a bull.

I'll have to agree with you there, Bull. I have to figure out what to call you. He thought to the bull, and the bull's response was simple.

"You have already found a name for me, sir. Bull. I am a simple bull of simple nature; I need nothing more." And that was that.

However, the pain wouldn't cease immediately, in fact, it became worse as time went on. He felt his muscles bulge, and he snorted loudly, forcing himself to his full height. The cracking sounds faded and so did the pain, and he looked around at his friends, and just like them, ready to take on the world. Ready to take on those pieces of trash called Vampires... the ones who'd enslaved him for so long! But no longer, he'd destroy every single Blood-sucker in his path!

Jasmine gasped, taking a tentative step towards him, reaching out to touch his horns. "Y-You're a bull." She whispered, "It looked so... painful. I don't know if I can do it, Jacob." She murmured, latching onto him.

You can do it! He thought, it was easy if she'd just let her beast take over, and didn't fight it like Connor did. Jasmine pulled away, taking a deep breath, knowing that she couldn't fight it any longer. Her voice was just telling, calling to her; who was she to deny it?
