"Mom, what did you do with the lettuce?" I yelled from the kitchen. Obviously, no reply. She was too busy messing with this hotshot that landed on our island. I hate Calypso, aka my mother. She always takes the pity, and shoves me aside and doesn't let me have a chance with the guys.
Nobody has heard of me. It's always Calypso this, Calypso that. The only boy to ever see and I guess like me was this guy named Dameon. He was kinda cute but seemed to have a bit of a gay vibe to me. Which isn't a problem, but...I don't know.
"Elizabeth! Can you show this fine young man to the boat please?" My mother called. Of course, I do the work. Why not?
I groaned, but wiped my hands on my dress. I walked out the door and tried to smoothe my forever brown and frizzy hair. I took one glance at the guy, and he was hot. Just as hot as Poseiden my father, whom she had affair with.
Which is why I am
"Hey, I'm Lizzy!" I greeted, "It's a bit of a walk to get there, but you'll survive,"
"I'm sorry, but who are you?" He asked, a confused expression all over his face.
Inward facepalm.
"Lizzy. Duh. For a hot man, you sure aren't the son of Athena. Obviously, I'm the daughter of that chic over there," I pointed at my mom. She was sitting on a rock, being all sad. Probably making this guy feel bad.
"Geez, sorry. Gods, your mom is hot," He said. I could imagine drool running down his face.
"I get that a lot," I bit my cheek out of frustration. "Anyways, the boat, buddy," I had to drag him by the hands to pull him from his spot, where he stood looking at my majestic mother.
"Leave please," I pointed at the boat.
"I'm going. Just tell your mother, I'll come back for her," He asked.
"Sure. Now be gone," The boat speed away. I never tell Calypso they're coming back. They never do, and she's tired of hearing it anyways. We both are.
*LE TIME SKIP PUNKS*
I was all nested in my bed, warm and happy. The covers were fresh and smelled great. I was just about to drift to sleep, until-
BOOM!
The sound woke me up. I mean, how would it not have?
"Lizzy, you go get 'em this time. I'm exausted," My mom muttered. She was in the bed next to me. Like in a different bed---never mind. I groaned. Why this late? Get almost killed later buddy.
"Okay," I sighed, pulling on some shorts and a white tank top. I threw on some boots as well. There are so many thorns and branches out there---you would not belive. "Time to find this peasant," I muttered to myself as I slunk out the door.
The place where the guy was wasn't too hard to find. It was on fire. And it ruined my landscaping. I have some water powers, but only enough to put of small fires. I put it out quickly, and I heard the guy coughing and hacking.
"Hey buddy, you all right?" I asked, slowly decending down the hole. Gee, Lizzy! What a great question to ask after a guy just slammed into the gound a 100 miles an hour! I was born a blonde, I swear. My mom must've dyed my hair. {RHYME AWW YISS}
"Aw man my ankle is killing me, and I'm wet," Was the weak response.
"Nothing else?"
"Well yeah, but the ankle's most noticeable," He replied. I could see his figure; scrawny with curly brown hair. Couldn't really tell anything else.
"What's your name? I'm Liz, and I've come to help you and all that jazz," I asked. I was squating right next to him, examining him.
"I'm Leo Valdez. Sorry I wrecked the scenery,"A//N
