Leanne's POV
"Mom, why is my stuff packed and your stuff isn't?" I asked my mom. She told me we were going on vacation but her stuff wasn't packed so I was really confused.
"Sorry, I didn't tell you the truth."
I looked at my mom confused, she's sorry for lying to me ?
"Wait, I don't understand, what do you mean ?"
I'm genuinely so confused.
"HA GOTCHA ! So, no we're not going on vacation but you are getting a surprise !"
Oh my goodness, my mom really just did this to me.
"Wait. Surprise ? Does it include me moving out because I don't think I'm ready yet."
Yeah, I'm not ready to move out yet, I'm only 18.
"Yes, but you'll be fine. You'll see why."
"Mom, you think I'm gonna be comfortable moving out ? I haven't even had a chance to give myself mental preparation."
"Like I said, you'll be just fine. Trust me."
"Okay mom. Whatever you say."
