Leanne's POV

 "I just wanted to let you all know that..." We all awaited his answer about the future of our group. "You guys will be debuting in 2 weeks ! Congratulations !"  Wait... Did I hear that right ? are my ears deceiving me ? 

"umm... wha-what ??" I said, trying to confirm that I really heard the right words and I just wasn't imagining it.

"You heard me right, you guys will be debuting in 2 weeks !!!" I looked at all my other members and we all had the same expression, just pure shock. I froze for a sec but then it all sank in, we were debuting. We all started jumping up and down, screaming and hugging each other. 

"Oh my goodness, Thank you !! We will not let you down sir !!" I said and all of my members and I bowed down and said thank you. 

"Leanne right ? The leader ?" CEO-nim asked pointing at me.

"Yes sir, what is it ?" I said, starting to feel a little bit nervous.

"Can the rest leave and let me and Leanne alone ? I need to have a talk with her." Ohp, I guess. What did I do wrong ? Was it the controversy from Jungkook and I ? What could it possibly be ? "So Leanne, you are currently living with Seventeen right ?"

"yes sir."

"I am just going to let you know that even after you all debut, you will still be living with them." Oh. my. goodness. I'm still gonna live with them ? I thought I was going to live with them after debuting !? "The dorm that we have given the Royals has 4 rooms, all supposed to fit only one member in. Since you already live within the area and the others don't, we decided to just let you stay with Seventeen until you guys are able to pay your full trainee debt and are financially stable to pay for a bigger dorm." He continued. 

"Yes sir. We will do our hardest in order to pay for a bigger dorm. Thank you again for letting us debut but may I ask, why are we debuting already ? I mean, weren't we scheduled to debut in the middle of next year ?" I said.

"We are letting you guys debut now because according to the videos that were sent to me today, after your first practice back, you all worked harder and were able to learn enough for debut. I thought it would take more time for you all to learn your songs' choreography but you guys were able to perfect it within a matter of hours. I suddenly saw a potential in you all and thought that it was the perfect time for you all to debut." He said which enlightened me even more. It made me proud of all my members. "Anything else you'd like to ask ?"

"No, that's all. Thank you again sir. I'll be heading back now to my members."

"no problem and congratulations once again !" He said and I smiled on my way back out. I went out of the door only to be shown to my members who were eavesdropping on the conversation. 

"Really ?" I said, looking down at them while they looked up at me, trying to look all innocent. I just sighed and told them to get back to the practice room. We were walking to our practice room to see that the lights were out. I opened the lights to a surprise. 

"CONGRATULATIONS ROYALS ON YOUR DEBUT !!!" I looked up to see my Pristin unnies and I almost cried. "Sound out ! We are Pristin ! Anneyong haseyo, Pristin imnida !" They said and we all started clapping. We also did our group greeting to them too.

"Coronas ! Anneyong haseyo, Royals imnida !" And we all clapped again. I smiled so proudly and even though I couldn't see them, my members were also doing the same. It was our first time being able to introduce ourselves as an official group because before, there was always a chance of one of us getting taken away from the group or someone was being added. I looked around and saw so much food, a sign that said congratulations, and a photo booth ? I don't know, it's Pristin, they're very extra so of course they would get a photo booth for this. 

"Leanne-ah !" I hear my name get called so I look up to see Nayoung unnie gesturing me to come closer to her so I did. She lead me to the outside of the practice room. "Are you excited for debut ?"

"Of course I am ! who wouldn't be ?"

"True but just to let you know, being leader is a huge responsibility, especially for you cuz you do everything for the group, correct ?"

"Correct."

"I just want you to know that even though it is a huge responsibility, have fun with it. If you get frustrated, tell your members, tell me even. Just make sure your anger doesn't show on camera." She said and I listened to her attentively because she definitely has more experience than I do. She's been a leader for 2 groups and has been in the industry longer than I have so I should just follow to what she says. 

"Thank you unnie for the advice, I'll never forget it."

"always remember to have fun !" she said lastly before we walked in. Let me just say, it was a mess. There was so much dancing, yelling, and karaoke. I don't know if you remember but my members and I are all filipino and if you pair up filipinos with a karaoke machine, it gets loud. I just looked around and laughed and just went straight to the food. I was extremely hungry like, it wasn't even funny. It was like 8:00pm and I didn't eat breakfast this morning. I sat down and just watched my members act dumb but also have fun. They kept telling me to get up and do at least one song for karaoke and after a lot of convincing, I got up and did Love On Top by Beyonce because you can never go wrong with a Beyonce song right ?

-One song later-

I finished the song and everyone started clapping tremendously and all I could do was bow but I was extremely embarrassed. 

"That's why she's our leader everyone !" I heard Jaylyn  unnie say and I hit her afterwards but it was all a joke. There were so many laughs that night but I was ready to go home so I sat back down and just closed my eyes for a bit..... 💤💤

Heyyyy !! Sorry I just now updated. I literally left my house at 9 this morning cuz I had to go to church. After church, I had to go straight to Corona which is 2 hours away from where my church was. It literally was for a church activity and we didn't come home until like midnight so I couldn't update at all today. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed and as always, I love You !!!
