Spade the Dragon Slayer

S class

     "Spade you sure you are okay to walk?" Diamond asked. I nodded in response as I stumbled a bit and smiled on my way to the guild hall. She watched me with a worried expression. I was feeling exposed because my jacket being gone. 

        "Spade your okay!" Wendy shouted running over to me and hugging my body. I smiled in response and hugged her back.

        "I wouldnt say that..." Diamond said as he looked at my sorrow filled eyes. I lost my mom and dad again I lost the only thing I had left of chirgo. 

        "What do you mean?" Wendy asked confused pulling away from me as I walked over to a table in the far corner and sat alone leaning on the wall ym mind wandering. 

        "She hasnt said a word sinse her edolas." Diamond explained. Eveyone froze looking at me. "She is still weak aswell. that spell she used...its very very strong and it drained her physically and emotionally in that battle....her magic is restored though, and she has been eating ice for the past 4 days..." diamond added. I sighed and walked over to mira who smiled at me. She passed me a bag of skittles as a familiar scent filled my nose. My eyes widened as I turned to see erza walk over holding my leather jacket completely fixed. She handed it to me. 

        "It took a lot to fix it but thanks to gray and natsu we managed." Smiled erza I quickly put it on and opened mouth to speak. 

        "Thank you." i said jumping on her giving her a  hug. She smiled as everyone in the guild ran around I looked at them, 

        "Mira whats going on?" I asked. she smiled. 

        "Youll find out." she said everyoine was in rushes to take jobs.Everyone was laughiong and workign. we all smiled as I sat by lucy. i rested my head on teh bar counter and passed out. 

        "I have chosen the contestants for this years S class trials!" Macrov shouted I smiled as I heared this lifting my drowsy head. The guild members gathered around. "This year I have chosen Natsu, Gray! Juvia! Cana! Levy! Mest! Elfman! Freed! and Spade. You are allowed to have 1 partner." Macrov said I blinked in shock as I looked at him. 

        "Are you nuts?!"i shouted. I didnt want to compete with ym friends. I sighed adn looked at the roof. I sighedas everyone chose their partners I sat quietly not choosing.Everyone was picking partners for the S class trials but I really didn’t know who to choose. Juvia was with Lisanna. Gray and Loke. Cana and Lucy. Happy and Natsu. Mest and Wendy. Elfman and Evergreen. Freed and Bickslow. Levy had Gajeel. However I was still without a partner for the S class tests. I frowned as I looked over my choices all my friends were already paired up and I didn’t want to drag Diamond into something that sounds so dangerous. I tapped my fingers on the bar counter. I wanted so badly to figure out a partner but everyone else was in a partnership. I look down. I sighed slightly as I hold my arms. I sigh quietly as Lucy takes a seat next to me.

            “Spade who’s going to be your partner.” Lucy asked as I looked at my hands.

            “In all honesty I don’t know.” I said as I rubbed my arm. I looked down refusing to eat my skittles. I continued to munch on it. I smiled as I looked at Lucy.

            “Well I am sure you will figure something out/” Lucy said as I nodded we stood and sat down beside Gray at a table with Lisanna, Juvia, Natsu, Wendy, Elfman, and Lucy. I sighed as Natsu took off with Happy to train. I sighed quietly ignoring my dear friends. Loke approached and I gave a slight wave. I lowered my eyes as I ignored everyone.  I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I just wanted to pick a partner. I looked down at my hands. I stood up and sat down. I looked away in silent sadness. If Mystogan was here then I would have chose him but he isn’t here and I am left to fight alone or pick a partner. I let a quiet sigh leave my lips.
