Spade the Dragon Slayer

       -Lucy P.O.V back at the guild.-

            Spade was being carried by gray who was crying over her body as we sat in the guild everyone crowded around her. She hadn’t woke up and her pulse was week. We had found diamond.

            “Diamond why isn’t she waking up?!” Macrov asked. Diamond looked at her small bandaged paws.

            “Just before the roar hit us out of worry for protection for the guild she smiled at me. She has started to cry….she was summoned a spell so strong it would block most of the hit from the roar….She…..” Diamond bagan to cry her pink tail wrapping around her lower body were she sat. “She…s….she cast a revers black appocolypse.” She cried. We all looked confused so she continued her explanation. “She was afraid you wouldn’t make it back alive so she cast a spell that is the ultimate defense of the ice dragon. The white ice Sheild. It covered us but she had to focus on the shield and stay awake or else she would collapse and the shield would disappear. Once all of you guys were out cold and scattered she did the on thinkable and protected all of you using her body as a shield for me happy carla and pantherlily. Her magic completely ran out and she still tried to stand until she just…” Diamond couldn’t continue. Happy fell to his little blue knees hearing that Spade had probably just died for the exceeds lives all of us looked at each other Grey was holding her tightly to his bodycryign into her neck.

            “Don’t die on me Spade…” He whispered my heart tugged with pain as I watched them. Gray truly loved her….he didn’t want to lose her like this….I can tell why, I wouldn’t want to lose my loved ones like this either knowing they died because of me.

            “Gray make as many ice cubes as you can, we need a blender to crush the ice and get it into her body, we need to replenish her strength!” Natsu shouted as he looked at gray. Natsu….

            “I nodded and got a blender plugging it into the wall Gray made a bunch of small ice blacks and we quickly grinded them forcing Spade’s mouth open we poured small amounts into her mouth and blew at the back of her throught to force her to swallow. I felt tears fall down my cheeks when nothing happened after gray fully ran out of magic power from making ice. We looked at her pale week body. Her black jacket was torn. I tried to smile and make everyone see it wasn’t so bad that she proably was just tired but she just slept for 7 years….its not true….she could die right here and none of us would be able to save her.

            “NO WE JUST GOT BACK WE CANT LET ER DIE ITS BECAUSE OF HER THAT WE DIDN’T GET SHREDDDED!” Natsu screamed the rest of the guild jumped from the sudden loud noise. I looked at my trembling hands and then clenched them into fists by my side.

            “Is there somewhere we can lay here to rest?” I asked Macao nodded and helped gray carry her upstairs into a make shift infirmry. We all sat downstairs in sadness. We tried to stay cheer but gray didn’t come downstairs….

            “Spade…” Diamond cried into her own small paws. I picked her up and held her closely as we waited in hopes of her waking up. Spade please don’t leave us…don’t leave gray….

-Mirajane’s P.o.v 3 weeks later-

            Spade laid unconscious in the infirmiry, everyday we fed her over 100000 ice cubes in hopes that she will wake up. I rcheck on her every hour, the guild was tired from defesting the new oracion seis without the help of spade they were all exhausted. We all waited for her awakening but mostly Gray he was constantly crying. I walked into the infirmy room that Spade was with a  glass of crushed ice. I looked at her bed my eyes widening.

-Gray’s P.O.V-

            The sound of shattering glass souned from upstairs. The whole guild went silent and we heared rushing footsteps but they suddenly stoped. Cries filled the guild hall and we all tensed. It cant be…the only person upstairs is Mira and spade…if there is crying…I jumped to my feat tears springing to my eyes as we all raced up the stiars. We burst through the door to see Mira crying with her arms wrapped around Spade. A shattered glass and melting ice scattered on the floor. That when the familiar orange and pruple eyes landed on my face and a familiar smile that I missed formed on her face.

            “S…s…spade…” I whispered the tears spilling from my eyes. She was sitting up in the bed her eyes ere on me as I rushed over hugging her the rest of the guild cried with joy as we all came to the understanding that spade was now awake. We had worried for nothing. She is alive.

            “Gray…” she whispered as she released mira and hugged me closely I blushed as she nuzzled her face into my neck.

            “Spade….” I whispered as I hugged her abck tightly nuzzling my face into her blue hair. She always smelt like cotton candy. It was so relaxing of smell like happiness. I smiled as I felt her warmth, the feeling of sadness leacing the room. She slipped out of bed walking with us into the guild hall. It was rather diffuclt of a feeling as we all worked on getting  her downstairs. She smiled and asked me for some ice which I gladly gave her.

            -Spade P.O.V-

            “I am feeling all better” I said as I looked at the severly downgraded guild hall. Everyone was crying I looked at them confused.

            “We are all so happy you woke up!” Macrov said as he took a large swig of beer. I scratched my head slightly.

            “What do you mean?” I asked looking at the old man as I devoured a large plate full of ice.

            “Well you remember the S class trials correct?” Macrov asked. I thought back as it came rushing back my eyes widened.

                        That dragon its roar had filled the sky and was heading directly for my friends so I cast the spell White Ice shield. I remember my friends being scatteded so I split the shield into secrions and covered them as I used my body to protect Happy Lily Carla and Diamond. I nodded my head at the master who smiled at me.

            “Thanks to you child we all managed to survive to come home, however 7 years have passed sinse we returned and when we did you were on the brink of death, your body was badly ingured and you lacked magic energy, so we fed you gray’s ice every day almost evey half our to try and replenish your magic strength. I suppose it worked if your feeling back to normal. However you stayed unconscious for 3 weeks…” Macrov explained. I nodded in understanding.

            “Yes I suppose doing what I did would cause that long of a slumber, you see not only does that spell zap all magic energy but physical, after casting it I shouldn’t have been able to split it into sections to protect you and still move to protect Lily,carla,happy, and diamond. I should have passed out. The only thing that kept me moving and going was the thought of losing all of you. But that aside, that spell is supposed to be forbidden. As you can tell it has the full power to save lived but as well as destroy the one who casts it, it usually only knocks the caster out for two weeks but I did more then just cast it. I suppose my strength in magic and physicality has grown.” I explained. Gray stood behind my so close my back was touching him. I nodded a smile at my guild as gray handed me more ice.

            “Well the important thing is your awake now.” Macrov said as I stood and cracked my back.

            “Yes however I cant say I am the biggest fan of the way the guild looks…” I said everyone looked down.

            “Well after all our strongest wizards disappeared it became harder to get jobs done nobody could do S class quests or higher. So we fell behind in money and eventually became a laughing stock.” Macao said I growled as eh said the last part.

            “I am going to go around making sure everyone knows we are back.” I said walking out of the guild as I stretched. I wouldn’t let our guild be a laughing stock….not now not ever....
