Chapter 13:
It was Tuesday and Zach had texted me saying that he wouldn't be at school until lunch. So, I spent the whole day by myself, like how I had before he had arrived, and waited until lunch. My car had finally came back from the garage and I was happy that I could finally drive to places. When I had woke up this morning, dad had already left saying he got my car for me from the mechanics and that he'd see me after school.
Throughout the whole day, I was worn out with fatigue because I couldn't get any decent sleep last night. My mind had wondered to the topic of werewolves and Raiden as I tossed and turned in my bed. I swear I hadn't slept for even a minute so I had to force myself to school, trying to muster as much energy as I could to do all the simplest things.
By the time it was lunch, I was already dragging myself around. I focused on getting through the busy crowd in the hallway, trying to not bump into anyone as I walked in a zombie-like trance. I finally managed to reach the safe forest where I met up with Zach. He was lightly kicking a stone with his hands in his pockets, dressed in a knit cream sweated with dark jeans. His face beamed as he gazed upon me but was quickly replaced by a frown as he took me in.
My eyes were probably sunken and hollow with a dead look, my hair messily put up while my face sagged in tiredness, "what happened to you London?"
He hurried forward and grasped my chin, tilted my head from side to side as he examined me, "you look like your neighbours has sex all night."
I could not muster a single ounce of strength to laugh at his joke, yawning in response. His frown deepened and his eyes glinted with worry.
"I couldn't sleep last night," I mumbled and leant my head against his shoulder, his arms then wrapped around my shoulders, supporting my weight. He lowered us slowly down on the ground where we had our backs pressed against a tree and suggested, "get some sleep, London."
I lightly shook my head and whispered while my eyelids drooped, "school."
He clicked his tongue in disapproval, "how many hours of sleep did you get?"
I shrugged and yawned loudly again. I held out both of my hands, showing him ten fingers.
"Ten... minutes!?" he flabbergastingly looked at me.
I shrugged, my eyes were demanding to shut but I knew if I even blinked, I would fall into a slumber.
"Stop... talking," I managed to mumble.
He sighed in defeat and tightened his arms around me while pulling me in closer to him. We happily sat together for a moment, not bothering to grab our lunches, I carefully listened to the happy whistling of the birds around me while the wind picked up the leaves in a dance causing them to laugh in return. I snuggled closer to my hard but warm pillow and sighed. Somehow, it was moving up and down and was letting out soft breathes which caused me relax even more.
Before I knew it, I was tranced into a sleep.

When I woke up again, I was definitely not sitting on the soft forest ground anymore. Instead, I was wrapped in a warm silk blanket on the most heavenly soft four poster bed, the walls around the room were a navy blue and the room was absolutely stunning. There was a blue-curtained sliding door to my right, a dark desk and computer chair by the wall that also had a door leading to the bathroom and two bedside tables with lamps that complimented the room.
This room looked brand new and I wondered if I was invading someone's bedroom. Suddenly the assumed bathroom door slammed open and my hand flew to my heart before it leaped out of my chest.
