Huffing, I sat on my window seat. We had just moved everything back to normal. I pulled out Crimson Heart and looked at her.

"You had a good match, Crimson. Keep up your good work and I'll keep up mine." I then laughed. I've been talking to her more than ever. Ukyo say next to me once he finished talking to Shu, Wakiya, and Xander.

"Are you okay?" His voice was softer than usual. Almost as if he were to console a little kid. I smiled and tilted my head to the side.

"Yeah. I'm okay." Liar. Stop lying to yourself and him. I'm not lying though...

"Are you sure? You're looking pretty dejected."

"Aye! I'm sure!" Ukyo laughed. I laughed. Then we heard water hitting the windows and roof. Opening the curtains, I saw the window covered in rain.

"You guys are not going home in this weather. It's raining too hard. You'll catch a cold." I moved the small tables and told the people sitting on the coach to stand up and move out of the way. Pulling off the cusions, I revealed a pull out bed that was huge.

"You guys know where everything is. Some of you guys can sleep in my room, the guest room, or on the pull out bed. I'm taking the window seat." Ukyo glanced at me.

"No you're not." His voice changed from the softness to a sharper tone, "I won't allow you to." I stuck my tongue out at him.

"My house, my rules." Knowing I was right, Ukyo just gave a sigh before disappearing.

"Alright! Shoo people! Go and fight for the beds!" Most of the group, save for three of them and the now gone shadow walker. I went to a closet and grabbed blankets for everyone, including myself. Once all the lights were off and you could here the snoring of a few people, I slipped off from the window seat and grabbed my black cloack. Humming a soft tune, I walked out of my house and to the park, where a beystadium is.

"Crimson... I will make you stronger... I promise... I vow you will beat Tyrant Tridon... Just give me more time." I got ready to launch.

"3..! 2..! 1..! Let it... rip!" My voice rang out into the silent night. Crimson hit the stadium with a lot of force as she spun, round and round.

"Let's come up with a new launch, girl. Go counterclockwise. Call fire to you. Become the demon! Demon's Flame!!" Crimson was going counterclockwise now, and fire was all around her. She hit the walls and gained more speed and heat. It was a success. I continued for three more hours...

Huffing and gaining my breath, I readied myself to launch again when hands grabbed my wrists. My eyes widening, I turned to attack my trapper. I stopped.

"Ukyo? What are you doing here?" My voice was a hoarse whisper as I registered the male's face. Worry was evident in his turquoise eyes.

"I was watching you train and keeping you safe, but now I'm stopping you. You are too tired. You'll get sick if you continue." The worry echoed in his voice.

"Why were you watching me?"

"I saw you leave the house in the dead of night, so I followed you. I was watching out for danger and making sure you didn't overwork yourself." If I weren't mad at him for stopping me, I would've joked that he has a crush on me or that he's a creep. It's just, in all honesty, my anger for Ukyo is stronger than my nerve to tease him.

"Once again, why?"

"Do you really think I'd let my friend roam off alone in the middle of the night without someone to protect her?"

"I can protect myself."

"I'm not saying that you can't. I'm saying I won't let you fend for yourself. I don't want you to get hurt." I but my lip.

"Ok. Can you let go of my hands now?" His hands had gone from gripping my wrists to softly holding onto my hands. Ukyo's face heated up and turned pink. He quickly let go of my hands.

"I'm sorry."

"No, no. It's okay. No need to apologize." The male nodded.

"Let's go back to your house. You need some sleep before the others wake up." I nodded and the two of us stood up. Ukyo walked next to me the entire way, trying to keep my thoughts off of beyblading. We walked in the door and he quickly locked it.

"So nobody breaks in while we're sleeping." Was his only response when I questioned the boy's motives. He led me to the window seat and made me sit down.

"I don't wanna." My voice was childish, but energized.

"Go to sleep. You need it after training so hard."

"No. I already told you, I don't want to sleep."

"Please, Night."

"No. Sleep is for-" I yawned, "Sleep is for the weak..." I rubbed my eyes.

"Sleep."

"No."

"Just do it, please." I shook my head.

"Uh-uh." He threw my blanket on top of me.

"Sleep."

"No. Warm blankets will not persuade my sleepiness." Ukyo sighed before pulling my feet and making me lay down. I almost yelled out, but resulted in a glare and growl.
